Wow, I thought the whole idea of this board was to enlighten and come together on a more spiritual level, a higher plane even.

Debate is wonderful if it enlightens us to see other possiblities and take a broader perspective on issues. If everyone were to see issues in the same light, what a boring place this world would be..

MG is obviously very loyal to Lotus, as well she should be, but the name calling and such,,ah,,,she lost me there. and the judgements on Pix: really not necessary..I hardly think anyone of 23 years has a right to judge regarding fidelities, marraige and children when they have yet to be experienced by said person. Life / God has a way of showing us that preconcieved notions and high and mighty moral judgements are not a great thing to take part in, as you don't know what your future holds. And to say this or that would never happen (to me) is not realistic. Life doesn't always turn out like a book that you write each and every word and orchistrate. My dear, you will find this out in time.

I so enjoyed the poetry and much of what has been written and shared. And yes, I agree that debating should be done by persons that can debate properly and with education or wisdom regarding what they are speaking about.

I am not as comfortable here as I was when I first started peeking in. I feel alot of things that are being said now are just plain ugly. And pointed and edify no one or nothing and barely make legitamite points.

So many replied about the 15 yr old regarding the sex talk. How many of those people even bothered to tell the 15 year old that sharing of yourself is a precious gift, one that you need to be emotionally ready for? Instead we make about THE issue of sexuality and age. which is rather silly of us, wouldn't you say. ANd then go to add post regarding what is natural and not natural between a man and a woman...intersenting the way the mind works..My opinion on that is my lover and I are not ashamed or afraid of making each other happy and take pleasure in each other on EVERY way we can think of. Porn stars would blush, we are happy. to each his own.

My posts have a way of ending threads, so this probly won't be an exception, but I had to get these things off my chest, and submit a plea to respect ourselves enough to respect others. Think about what I just said and it will make sense.

There is no ill will in this post, so please do not anyone imagine it or make thge desicion to pick me apart.

You know though, when people judge others who are open regarding thier lives and negative comments aboud, it makes people less likely to share and that is a dma shame. For what it is worth. KC

It is more than likely a safe way to vent, I'll bet if I actually met MysticGemini, she'd like howl with laughter, about how ridiculous this can get sometimes.

She is damn rude though.

I'm glad you pointed that out (though I haven't yet come across that thread that you speak of) because offering support in threads like that are the reason I first started coming to this site, that and being able to practice lexigramming.

I am also like goatgirl in that I stepped away from this site and am really upset and disappointed in the tone that the forum now seems to have.

And to my dearest PP. I know you will take this comment in the vein that it is meant, and not be offended by it. It takes two people to fight. The best way to end a slanging match is for one person to walk away. Most people here at LL love and respect you and know that you operate from love. Please don't feel as though you need to defend your honour and please, also think seriously about fighting personal attacks with love, because as you posted earlier, it doesn't do anyone good to stoop to a lower level.

I wanted to add that I see you as a key player at LL. You (almost single-handedly) have the ability to turn the tone of this forum around.

It's not going to be easy, and you will need to dig deep. Step up to the challenge and start turning your cheek away.

Hopefully very soon. We all have a responsibility to spread universal love, otherwise we will never ascend.

There is much power in our voices. Each of us has the ability to shape the world, using our voice (and/or the written word). Linda truly believed this - she wrote about the effect of sending words into the ethers.

You know, there is also something else that I would love everyone to think about.

EVERY WORD THAT WE WRITE ON THIS FORUM TAKES UP BANDWITH.

Let's use Randall's computer space a little more wisely and make our words count for something.
