My birthday is the 26th.

I got three gifts.

1. A set containing a pen, a watch, and a wallet.

2. A color printer, scanner, copier all-in-one. YAY!!! Wasn't expecting that at all.

3. A gift card for Walmart.

I ended up seeing the movie The Producers with my parents that day. Very funny, and so gay. We really enjoyed it.

Then we went to a Brazilian BBQ place. It was good, but not as good as other Brazilian BBQ places my parents had been to. It was my first time. For those who don't know, these places have an extended salad bar with some sides and soups. There were pasta salads, regular salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried fish, fried bananas, deli meats, cheese cubes, etc. Then, at your table you have a solid cylindrical thing about the size of a toilet paper core, and it's painted red on one end and green on the other with a band of yellow in the middle. When you want meat, you set it up on end with the green side sticking up. These guys come out every five minutes or so with different meats on about 16" long skewers. They ask who would like whatever meat they have to offer, and then cut off a piece for that person. The ribeye was my favorite followed by the tri-tip. They did get exotic as alligator meat (I was already full by that time). The worst was the turkey wrapped in bacon, because the turkey seemed really processed and unnatural. When you want the meat to stop coming, you turn your colored cylinder so the red end is up. When you're ready for your bill, you set it on it's side.

After that we went to see my 6-and-a-half year old Aquarian niece sing in our church's big production The Glory of Christmas. It was good if you're into that sort of thing. It's a musical production mostly: singing and dancing. The Producers was much better. My niece was cute, though, in her solo, which she gets paid for by the way.

I think that was the end of activities for that day.

I've never heard of a place like that. Sounds like you get to eat and have entertainment all in one sitting.
