Lioneye.....please show us your paintings....maybe you have Saturn in the fifth, but you ARE a Leo, aren't you?I have Saturn in the fifth too, so I can relate...I had real difficulty with that in my younger days...wanting to be in the entertainment world... Wanting....yet shaking with stage fright and scared to death...*sigh* IP: Logged |

I believe this is San Francisco's City Hall. I took this last night. I love when buildings have good night lighting. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure what this building is used for, or who owns it, but it was right there near City Hall, and it has some great lighting as well. IP: Logged |

I was like you just two months ago. Keep up the hope. It will happen if you want it enough. Maybe you can sweet talk yourself into one for Valentine's Day. IP: Logged |

There's a church in the Oakland hills that I must photograph before long. It's so stunning I can't help but look for it everytime I'm in the vicinity of it at night.IP: Logged |

I like the dark one too. If you want, I'll email you the big version. It'll slow down your email for a second, but it makes a great desktop background. This small photobucket one loses its sharpness when enlarged. It's 2272 x 1704 in it's natural size.IP: Logged |

I haven't been out for it yet, but here's a picture of it during the day (by someone else): http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/images/wallpaper/daylight/oakland.jpg So I just looked up directions, and as it turns out my instincts were exactly correct this past Saturday (when I was out taking pictures). I'd driven up the highway I knew it was located off of, and even took the correct exit. I just drove the wrong way off the exit, and since I quickly found a park (named the same as the exit: Joaquin Miller) I stopped and took pictures there instead. None of those pics came out as anything spectacular, though. I didn't stick around for longer, because I was hoping to hit Berkeley before moving on to the Golden Gate. Unfortunately I was too pressed for time to get Berkeley in. IP: Logged |
