I never called you "weak", when you unloaded your giant chip onto my shoulder every other day of the year. I knew it was also your cross...
But you called me "weak", when, one day, I was unable to shoulder your chip, your cross; You called me "selfish", because I was unwilling to be the primary receptical for your toxic psychic waste. I'd try to relieve your guilt (and exhaust myself in the process), when you'd cheat on your boyfriend... You'd try to make me feel guilty for not indulging you more in your sado-masochistic sentimentality. I tried so hard, for so long, to see only the best in you, and just as much to show it to you. I thought I was "teaching you to fish", but were you learning anything, or were you just letting me do your "fishing" for you? I'm so tired of making excuses for you. I'm weak from it, alright.
