looks overrated, seems to me everytime a movie breaks the mold in mainstream media/film it gets buzzes for that fact alone(even if the movie sucks)...IP: Logged |

Proxie is correct. Though I also think "brokeback" was chosen as allegory, to symbolize the effect of the mountain and the love affair on these two men. The film is brilliant. The acting transcends to reveal a love that is sublime. And I can only hope for the positive impact it might have in our homophobic society. quote: looks overrated
