I’ve become intrigued with Tesla and his works after reading Linda’s stuff and The Witches of Chiswick – a kind of crazy comedy sci-fi novel that present’s an alternate past where Tesla’s wireless power source helped change the Victorian world. There’s so many books out there about his life and work that it’s hard to know where to start, can anyone recommend anything?

Look for 'Tesla: Master of Lightning' Rob W, at Barnes & Noble. Excellent book with very good pictures, and the few blueprints he made, since he designed everything in his mind. I found it in the bargain bin for 10 dollars!Tesla said: "The difference between Edison and me, is Edison will pull all the straws out of the haystack, looking for the solution needle. Me on the other hand, I avoid the straws altogether, and find the needle with calculations." I was very mad about Discovery Channels 'Greatest Americans'. Edison mentioned I don't know how many times, and not one whisper about Tesla. *hands in air* IP: Logged |
