AFTER decades of research, there seems no doubt that smoking cigarettes is bad for you.
But an Austrian dog owner says his dachshund has been flourishing on 10 a day.

Wolfgang Treitler, from Graz, says his 22-year-old pooch, General Edi, has been eating 10 cigarettes a day since he was adopted.

"His old owner abandoned him so we took him in 17 years ago, and noticed straight away he was in the habit of eating cigarettes.

Holy cow! that dog is 22? That in itself is amazing. When I was younger, my dad said that if he ever caught me smoking he would make me eat the cigs. to this day I am a non-smoker.
