"1000 years" by Sting Another is an English 17th century tune called "Greensleeves". One more would be "Abide with Me"

Greensleeves! Peter Gabriel 'In your eyes' with Paula Cole, the lovely Zala gave me a beautiful, moving download to that, and I thank her! There are so many... Tori Amos does it to me.... mostly anything she does.. I love a full sound, with beautiful lyrics and symphonic melodies IP: Logged |

<<the lovely Zala gave me a beautiful, moving download to that, and I thank her!>> She really gives so much of herself to everyone here. A good tune about her for me would be "Your Unbelievable"

I like all kinds. Spiritual music is beautiful to me. Especially if I have heard it before live in concert. Below are two bands I like and have heard live: Farasha: The lead singer is a friend of mine and is having a CD release party in April. He's been working on the music for many years, and has finally got them into recording. You could listen to samples on the website: www.farashamusic.com Mark Deutsch:
He created his own instrument called the Bazanter. Here is his site along with samples: http://www.bazantar.com/ As for contemporary, I really love James Blunt's song, You're Beautiful If you haven't heard it yet, you can hear it for free at www.vh1.com IP: Logged |
