1 .. the img (.jpg or .gif) must reside on an internet server
2 .. you stick the img web adrs. ( http://www. etc ) between two of the ubb tags ..

.. these two .. [img] and [/img]

so it ends up looking like this .. e.g. [img] http://www.etc. [/img]
