South Africa chased a world record score in cricket yesterday in an Epic victory that would make Olympus denizens proud.28 sixes and 78 fours were struck by both sides. It would be really interesting to seee the Natal CHart of yesterdays event and map it to SA's birth chart because the perfromance is something like the winner of a 100 metre dash clocking 6.5 seconds and runner up being 6.6 seconds, and all others beyond 10 seconds. This score of 434 in 50 overs has not occured even in school grade cricket in the past 120 years of cricketing history. A one in a million performance, and for two teams to do that, it is one in a trillion. IP: Logged |

I am not a cricket fan, but I watched the first few overs, since two of my fvourite teams were playing. But I turned off, since after the 15 over, I thought RSA already lost the battle. By evening, when I checked ESPNSTAR web site, I was not only shocked to see Aussies had the highest score, but also shocked to know RSA successfully chased them down!one in a zillion performance, especially when it is Aus and RSA. ------------------ Welcome Home to GhostVillage IP: Logged |
