Well… there’s the biggest problem. Stop buying boxed/canned/prepared foods! Make them yourself!! It’s more nutritious, it tastes better, AND IT’S CHEAPER!! Seriously… Think about how easy it would be to make your own Hamburger Helper. What is it? Noodles, cheese and meat. (You’d have to make a cheese sauce, not just add it to the mixture… but still… easy beyond belief). Salad dressing? Stupidly simple! Gravy too.

Bleck! That stuff doesn’t even taste good. I’d be willing to bet money that if most people cut this junk out of their diet for 30 days and replaced it with healthy food (fresh, organic fruits and veggies, dairy/meat ((if you choose to eat it)) with no antibiotics and hormones, unprocessed sugar ((in moderation)) and grains), the fast food would taste yucky to them too.

It’s absolutely disgusting to me what the American government will allow in order to pursue the All Mighty Dollar.

There is a conversation I think this would fit well with in GU. I think I’ll post the link in there. Thanks for sharing!

This, along with Johnny’s Intact post, should be required reading for all Americans.

"Digusting" doesn't even cover the range of emotions I felt reading this. "Outrage" doesn't cover it either. I threw away the bottle of MSG/Accent in the spice cabinet decades ago, but didn't realize the sneaky ba$tards just renamed it "Natural Flavoring".....

This one will go out to everyone in my address book. A clean copy can be found here, or just link to it: http://www.rense.com/general67/msg.htm

Thanks for posting this, SS!

Luckily I make all my meals from 'first principles' - ie with raw ingredients. That way, you know exactly what you're eating.

It's scary beyond belief what cr*p manufacturers put into processed foods. Yuk!
