for any good books? I've read many. I've read almost all of these books: http://www.d230.org/cs/media/reading/100_most_often_recommended_readi.htm I've read 1984, Utopia by Thomas More, Stephen Benet... Actually, I kinda skipped Shakespeare a bit, only read the first volume.. too lazy to find the second and I may not even really enjoy it unless we discuss in class. IP: Logged |

Instead of a book, for now I will suggest you see the DVD of "Citizen Kane", preferably with some well read classmates who have not seen it. If you have mentally digested the books you have read, you should be able to guess who "Rosebud" is when you see the movie.IP: Logged |

I love Angela's Ashes!! I've read that book many, many times. The Jungle is a required read at my school. Would make sense, since it's about Chicago and the Stockyards and I was in Chicago History at the time... It's an gruesome book, when you get down to the details.. I'll never look at meat the same way again, lol. The Joy Luck Club! I love Asia.. IP: Logged |

Aphrodite, I loved "The Kitchen God's Wife"I read it in the hospital while my ex recovered from lung surgery. it was a nice book to keep me company. The Dr. thought it was a cookbook. IP: Logged |
