A grandmother was telling her granddaughter what her own childhood was like.
As she reminisced, she said things like:
"We used to skate outside on a pond."
"I had a swing made from a tire; it hung from a tree in our front yard.
"We rode our pony."
"We picked wild raspberries in the woods."
The little girl stared at her grandmother, wide-eyed, taking it all in.
At last she said, "Grandma, I sure wish I'd gotten to know you sooner!"********************
A pediatrician in town always plays a game with some of his young patients to test their knowledge of body parts. One day, while pointing to a little boy's ear, the doctor asked him, "Is this your nose?" Immediately the little boy turned to his mother and said, "Mom, I think we'd better find a new doctor!"
