Even I am a 'little bit single' and I've been married nearly seven years. Happily too. One can be independent within a marriage - if this weren't so I would never have done it!

A sign is "intercepted" when it falls entirely in the vacinity of a single house. It then competes with the sign on the cusp for rulership of the house. When a sign is intercepted in the 1st, most of the succeeding signs and houses are paired up as they would be if that were the Ascendant sign, so, it is very significant. Houses can also be intercepted (if they fall entirely within one sign), and these houses are emphasised in the chart, even if there are no planets in them.

Yeah, its weird when a photo turns out so poignant. Its "serendipitous", or something. That is a close friend of mine. She was my girl for three intense years, and my good friend for the past 4 (in addition to the 3). It's much better this way. Yes, she carries a lot of pain. She is: Sun in Libra (9th), Moon in Cancer (6th), Asc Capricorn, Mars Conjunct Venus in Scorpio (9th), Merc in Scorpio Conjunct Uranus (9th), Asc Square Pluto (8th), Scorpio Midheaven.
