I haven't seen the 2007 Corvette yet. I hear they are bringing back the Corvette Stingray.

Still, the 505 horsepower 2006 Corvette ZO6 (below) is just about tops for performance vehicles. Especially considering this 7.0-liter gas-guzzler has an MSRP of about $65,000, I've read it beats just about any standard production car... Ferrari... Lamborghini...

Stock, off the assembly line, it will do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds.

I think with this model-style, they're starting to look a little like Dodge Vipers. But Dodge Vipers are junk in comparison. Also, after sitting in a 2006 ZO6, they really could've put more effort into the interior material and design.

Who cares... this thing is F-A-S-T!!!!

Also, I love the HUD option... its a feature that projects a holographic image through the windshield, and you can read your speed as it is projected over the hood... so you can see how fast you are going, without taking your eyes off the road (for when you're driving REALLY fast). So cool.

If I had one, and the money, I'd put twin turbo chargers on it, and boost the horsepower up to about 800...
