I have a punching bag mounted outside on my deck. It sounds silly, but it really helps. Whenever my Lil' Aqua or Cappie friend... or whoever is at my house are upset, I tell them to take it out on the bag. Or I just take off jogging... physical exertion helps clear my mind. __________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

Chick flick and chocolate... which could explain why I'm plump. I'd like to say running... really I would.... I have lots of Venus influence in my chart. If it wasn't so much trouble I'd also have the man-servants fanning me with leaves and feeding me grapes at the same time... hehehe I'm mostly kidding IP: Logged |

I like to do some intense cardio, like run full speed on my treadmill on an incline. Something that gets me breathing! I feel like it drains my lymphatic system, but also drains away any stress as well.I have recently started doing Yoga again. The types of Yoga i'm doing focus on the 'holds' of each posture and also breathing / meditation. This has really helped me pin-point exactly where I'm carrying stress (energy) in my body, and get rid of it! ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

A relaxing hot soak in the tub with epsom salts and some herbs. A nice relaxing music CD. With nice cup of hot tea to top it off. Sometimes i also take hold of my purple plate during stressful times. Although i have been know to sit and eat a whole half gallon of ice cream in one sitting. Except today it doesnt go right thru my body like it used to ... seems the ice cream is setting up camp with in my fat cells. IP: Logged |

Meditation, trancing...find the source of the stress and deal with it. Situps/crunches. Lovemaking is fine for minor stress, but heavy/serious stress can affect the beloved one negatively and is unfair to them. Talking it through helps put stress in perspective instead of denying it. Sitting in the woods by water with my beloved one. Foot massages, reflexology. Get in my garden tub and soak with water as hot as I can stand it,candles lit, music playing. Gets rid of all those negative ions that my nursing school instructor used to talk about...LOL!

Eh, for the most part . . . For REALLY stressed out, I don't really do anything to relieve it. I let it run its course, which means time. I also drink a lot of water and make a diligent effort to eat super healthy food more often than normal to prevent getting sick (like flu or cold). Like a dinner plate full of steamed broccoli and a glass of carrot juice for lunch. (Sounds icky huh? My tastebuds just don't feel right when I'm stressed, so nothing really tastes good anyway). High fiber diet works great. I love it.I've done stuff like eat unhealthy food or drink wine for a buzz. Was okay, but hated feeling sluggish the next day. The other thing I've done is sleep it off. I've done that sleeping part way too much. Well, good luck to you MM. IP: Logged |

I felt stressed at the weekend as our son was going away for the weekend and I needed to get everything ready, including the making of a star wars costume...hehe.....And the way I relieved it was by going to bed with my husband and staying there for a while longer than we would normally be able. We drank coffee and ate our lunch there, lit candles and held each other for a long time and then made love... Afterwards we just held each other and I felt all the tension drain away from me.... It was heaven........ At one time I used to use alcohol and tobacco as a stress reliever, but now I cant do those things, they make me sick, but love is a much better way.....for me..... xxx IP: Logged |
