has anyone ever met someone off Lindaland in real life? i think it'd be weird.... especially if they lived in the same city....

I'm with Moon666Child: Not yet!Was offered to once by a Virgo here, though. Maybe I'll try to see her sometime. It just seems weird, because so much of what's in my mind comes out here, and wouldn't come out in person. But then she's pretty empathetic, so probably wouldn't be a problem. This Virgo lives hundreds of miles away also, so there wouldn't be any weird issue of proximity. IP: Logged |

Funny you should mention this as I MIGHT be meeting a fellow knowflake this weekend. Not mentioning any names until everything is final and we DO meet!

AG~ I know, right? I'm like that too. It's sort of annoying how so much more of my personality comes out when there's not the physical aspect of meeting someone to pile onto the awkwardness. Eureka! I'M NOT ALONE! IP: Logged |

AG, I'm just the opposite. I'm much more animated in person. As far as the awkwardness I will tell people the same things live or virtual. Besides that gives people a starting point. My only fear is meeting someone who is actually unsafe. whether it's from here or any internet site. IP: Logged |

I've met two - neither of 'em post here anymore, though. One stayed with me for a few days (he came from the UK to my old place near DC, then we took the train to NYC so he could see his then-girlfriend). I still keep in contact w/ him - he's married now, seems quite happy The other LL'er was his then-girlfriend. She seemed really nice and helped me navigate my way back to the train station when my then-boyfriend (now husband) called and told me that he was pretty hurt after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing head-on into a Ford F250. I didn't get to know her that much, though, as I spent most of my time in NY either finding the apt. the first friend was staying at or rushing back to VA. IP: Logged |

AG, are you talking about me? I know last Christmas you were thinking of coming to OC to meet family, yes? I'm more communicative in person, especially in my home with a stellium in the 4th house. But if I catch a vibe from someone I go inward fast. ANyone wanna come for a visit?

AG, in person you can't go google information to support what you're talking about before you say it am I right? I'm referring to the political conversations in GU. you can go cross check information etc. But not so IRL. If you and I ever got together AG, we would talk about your future and get philosophic, Well I would anyway..I'd be interested in helping you discover your talent. You would clam up in a Libra sort of way, not knowing which direction to go in. Then you'd go inward on me and we'd have nothing to talk about. We'd be silent for a while but it wouldn't be uncomfy. You have a Libra moon, not Virgo DO you agree? IP: Logged |

Nice to see my favorite midnight poster. Yes, it was you I was speaking of. I think we'd be ok. You have a couple Virgo placements. Something's gotta come close to my Moon. quote: AG, in person you can't go google information to support what you're talking about before you say it
That really wouldn't matter to me. If I must discuss politics from the gut I can do so. I'm incredibly mutable with a Cap/Virgo base. Information seems to come to me by osmosis independent of whether I'm consciously looking for it or not. Besides politics is more about philosophy in the end, and I can make those arguments pretty easily. I don't get into politics too much with people IRL. (Not for the fear of violence like Jwhop says, but rather because deep down I know there's really no point in arguing with a Republican. Everyone's got to learn or not learn in their own time. I used to be a Republican myself, so I know people can change, but still there are a lot who don't.) If there was a conversation or debate already in progress I'd might opine, but for the most part I realize that people are at different areas politically, and many not into it as much as I am, so I let it go. quote: If you and I ever got together AG, we would talk about your future and get philosophic, Well I would anyway..I'd be interested in helping you discover your talent.
Talent? I think I've got more than one. Getting philosophic is cool. Plenty of Sag here. Talking about my future sounds like an attempt to put my future life into a box. That doesn't generally work for me. You can let me know if I'm interpretting that wrong. quote: You have a Libra moon, not Virgo DO you agree?
Actually, my Moon is the part of my chart I can least figure out, but I've seen people I respect comment on the 29th degree, and they say that there's a reason it doesn't travel over that cusp into the next sign, so I guess I'm a Virgo Moon. However, Libra still figures heavily in my chart with two planets there (Uranus and Pluto) and a 7th house stellium. I do see many sides of an issue at once. IP: Logged |

hehe. Hi!!AG, your Sun trines my moon/venus and my Sun conjuncts your moon. Saturn on the 1st usually likes to work on and learn about the self. It makes yours and my appearance more capricornian too. Talking about yourself would be a natural topic. Also, you are still searching for that big thing to bring you a true sense of belonging, succeeding..something purposeful, something bigger than what you've got going now. Am I right? And No. no boxes allowed! IP: Logged |

I incorporated some tea into my fruit smoothie last night, and I think it may have affected me, so sorry if my last post was hard or weird. I had a difficult time sleeping last night, too. quote: AG, your Sun trines my moon/venus and my Sun conjuncts your moon.
Ooooh, that's the 'Soul Mate' conjunction (your Sun, my Moon) according to my synastry program. Should definitely be some understanding between us. quote: Saturn on the 1st usually likes to work on and learn about the self.
Indeed. Sometimes I think that I'll eventually end up looking obsessive compulsive. I'll get my whole day into a regimented routine to accomodate every little thing I need to get done. I'll figure out exactly how much exercise I need. I'll figure out what I should eat exactly. I'll have every move planned out in a daily intinerary.... I'm not sure if I'll ever go that far, but sometimes I feel like that's where my life is headed - utter discipline. Don't know if my Gemini side can handle that, though. Speaking of learning, I just got a midpoint interpretation done. Top of the list was this: Mercury Conjunct Sun/Mars 0 deg 56 min You are likely to take classes and continue to learn things throughout your life, never ceasing to work on getting a clearer and sharper understanding. While other people may say they do not have time to take classes, you make time because it is a high priority for you. Sometimes you are impatient with yourself and so anxious to master a subject that you become frustrated with yourself and possibly also your instructor, and this can cause you to prematurely terminate a training program, or get you into severe disagreements with others. quote: Also, you are still searching for that big thing to bring you a true sense of belonging, succeeding..something purposeful, something bigger than what you've got going now. Am I right?
Certainly. I have faith that it will happen. Mostly succeeding at something purposeful (Aqua MC). For me, belonging is [nice, but] somewhat superficial for the most part. I could give my perspective on belonging, but I'll save it for now. IP: Logged |

ooooo la la... I hear ya on the other stuff. I couldn't sleep either. as far as belonging, i meant that perhaps you feel separate from others, different, not better or worse. i'm probably just projecting my own issue onto you. i do that sometimes *yawn* IP: Logged |

What are you doing on during the day? The thing about belonging for a Capricorn male is that it's only ever going to be the appearance of belonging for the most part. We only really feel like we belong when we're with people who have gone beyond the surface and stayed loyal to us anyway. IP: Logged |
