It was a great place!
The show went off pretty good as well.. I am happy with my performance.. both singing and moving around/interacting.. even our 'between songs' time was pretty good!
Same usual complaints about the lead guitarist drowning me out, so I am forced to 'scream' let alone project my voice.. into a microphone no less!
... even though we have a mixing board, and the sound should technically be level, and a 'sound guy' ( co-op student)to mix it all from afar.... he has his own volume control up there and doesn't hesitate to use it..
So Audience feed back, was the usual.."Lead guitarist needs to tone down, I could barely hear anything else."
I could have said it along with them, that's how much I know this would happen.
*getting a little tiresome*
BUT.. the bar goers liked us, as did the owners, so hopefully we'll be invited back.

The really funny thing.. We do classic rock, but I like all kinds of music..
so as we were packing up our equipment, they turned on the house cd, and they were playing 'The Pussycat Dolls'.. I danced my way around the place, winding up cords and whatnot... sure, it's mostly familiar samples, but it was great! I was digging it!
*Classic rock chick dancing her azz to PussyCat Dolls*
I really had the urge to go to a club afterwards.. but my feet were too sore *damn strappy sandals*

I LOVE the rocking Penguin, Cancerian Moon... so cute!!!!!

AG.. You're going to Radiohead? WOW!!!! sounds awesome!

Thank you all for your support... it went well.
I think we have another festival gig next monday.. during the day.
I'll let you know.

Sounds like you had a great time Isn't it a great song "Pussycat dolls"! My daughter's dance studio used it for a part of their performance and it was a smash. Here is a picture, although it came out rather fuzzy. She is right in the middle. Did your fans take any photos during your performance? Would love to see it

Wow pix! I remebered you were in a band but I don't think I ever asked you what type of band it is? What music do you play?
And most importantly- what kind of frontwoman are you?? Manic/calm etc... I'm intrigued!

Do you have any links to reviews or pictures?
