I think it is absolutely stunning...generally the only tatoos i've ever seen that i've really admired have been on the feet...it is absolutely stunning.I could never get a tatoo myself because i change my mind so constantly...it would be nightmarish. But good for you! it's awesome. TMC IP: Logged |

Hey girls!!Did some research on foot tats, after the fact (I often do things bassackwards!) Alot of places will not do them for a variety of reasons, mainly because they are known to be very painful, tend to bleed the ink (mine is good so far), have an increased incidence of infection, can't wear shoes until it is healed if you want it to heal properly and because of the forementioned, require scrupulous care. Still, I would do it again and again, am so happy with mine. In the tattoo world foot tats are considered very exotic for the above mentioned reasons as they are not that common! Mine is doubly special as the girl who did it, drew it from what I told her out of my head, so it is as custom as you get and she gave me the original drawing and promised to never duplicate it. Cool!! Terri IP: Logged |

Very cool! For my part, the shoes I have worn ( had to, had to work!) are open enough that the top of my foot and all the tattoo is exposed. So far so good. I haven't even thought about putting on socks.. I need this puppy to dry out and heal. I researched a bit beforehand.. and the guy who makes the appointments really really didn't want me to get it on my foot, but I was determined.. and the tattoo artist himself was cool with it. Me too!!! I'd do it again! hippichick.. I love that we both got a foot tatt within days of each other.. that's the coolest!!! and that we both adore them! It wasn't so bad, was it? I was completely fine.. I smiled through the procedure. There were areas a little more 'spicy' than the others, but nothing I couldn't handle. the end result is the best!! Thanks for the compliments, guys! so far so good. IP: Logged |

PixelWell, like I said as far as pain goes, the one on my back was far worse and I agree with you, watching helped! As a matter of fact as she was inking me, I remembered you saying something to the effect of watching the process = less pain so I watched! This girl who did mine had a very good energy as well, which helped. And the whole time she was telling me her life story and what a story she had to tell!!!! Oh my!!!! Still, even though the pain was very real, I would do it over and over again! Terri IP: Logged |

Thank you. I won't be tired of it. I won't allow myself to. That's the nature of tattoos, which is why it was important for me to get something that I could live with .. It is an adornment I will wear always and it means something personal to me. It's classy, it's feminine, it's beautiful. Everytime I look at it, I feel happy. It's like your favourite piece of jewellery. you know, that confidence piece everyone has? Well, it's there always, and the symbolic nature of it is as well. I am so happy with it. It's not as if it is a lover's name, it isn't of a transient nature. Only tattoos that mean something should ever be entered into... So no, I wil not grow tired of it. *maybe I shouldn't have put that 'Billy Bob' over it.....lol.. kidding! IP: Logged |

PixelVery well said! If one has even the slightest inkling that she/he may grow tired of the tattoo, then do not do it! IP: Logged |

Thanks!!!'wilted rose', hahahahahaha hopefully my foot won't 'wilt' that much.lol 26T, I wish I could say I had zero regrets... I face my failures, and I grow from them ( I would hope) but oftentimes I live with them as a weight on me.. ( Saturn in the first perhaps?) But this tattoo? No regrets.. No way! Thanks for your comments! I'm glad you appreciate what I love!!! IP: Logged |
