"Jesus! Never have we had this many responses in such a short time. Oh, and about the newspaper? I gotta tell you, it's not hard to say to the CBS Public Relations person while on set at CBS, "Hey, go get that newspaper thing with Phil's interview in it." Obviously the band had seen it and when it came time for Phil's good-bye, they wanted to send a message to the rest of the singers. Trust me, he was going anyway. I love how people are looking for scandal and all, but the fact remains... Phil said what was in the paper. If anyone is looking for a job, a sure fire way to not get it is to talk **** in a newspaper about your potential employer or partners before your placement is secure. Bottom line!

When the band deliberates, the break can be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. I recall the last deliberation to be about 30 minutes. AFTER the band made their decision, we grabbed the story so I could prompt a response from Phil.

OK On to other allegations! The blogs over at MSN. I don't read them and I don't know what they ever said or what they say now. That one I really don't have anything to do with. You can be assured that THIS blog is mine and the few times that it has been edited, it has been by my own hand and for my own reasons.

As for the old "producers" pulling the strings of the show, or the "it's rigged" thing, that is just stupid. If you think that for one minute that anyone could get Jason, Tommy and Gilby to do something they didn't want to do, then you obviously haven't been in the meetings. (Of course I know you haven't... But I have.) HAHAHA. Those guys are hard ***** and I have never seen any one of them back down for anything. As for the editing of the show, we have been over this before. We have an hour to fit in so many performances and comments, which when you add commercials comes to about 48 minutes. There simply isn't enough time for everything. At the end of the day, there is no rigging, all votes are as they come in, Supernova alone makes their decision, I sit there and drink coffee and that is that. It is really straight forward. Feel free to create myth and mystery and conspiracy, as it is so much fun to read."

I haven't been able to reply 'cos I'm working full time and only sometimes can sneak on here.

So anyhow ~ I keep wanting to call Storm "Amber". To me she looks like her name would be Amber. She also looks like she'd be in a rock version of the Spice Girls.

Wow, that certainly explains Phil's departure. He was so boring anyways......seemed like a boring, programmed robot. I like the ones who have the guts to do something new.

I wish Toby would have ripped his shirt off at the end of the Billy Idol song ~ that would have given them a kick! He is good but just needs to do something a little bit more dramatic.

Josh is boring too and needs to completely change if he wants to front this band. Otherwise, go do your own thing, Josh.

Patrice is a good singer but she just bugs me. Jill bugs me too. She has to stop smiling so huge - this isn't a modeling job. Her skirt was WAY too short when she sang/grinded (haha) with Gilby. I had no idea Gilby was in Heart! I have an old Heart record album and a CD.

I think Lukas has some mystical/magical qualities to him, he seems a bit illusive, like he wouldn't want people to get to know him. He has good stage presence and sang his song really good.

It's too bad that some of them still think they have a chance, just because they didn't get booted. Like now Zayra really thinks she has a chance. I think she's just not their style.

Anyhow, I will close now.

Zayra's a trip! Cool version, but she's like the 80's Queen now.

Just saw Jill. I thought it was a bit pop-ish. She's better than Dana, but she kind of went into old Dana territory.

Wow! Ryan sang it better than REM wrote it.

Ryan Star was great. I loved how he sang soft, then strong, then soft again. I was thinking, OH if I had a boyfriend sing to me like that! Then Tommy made "the comment".

I can't stand Jill, Patrice, Zayra and Josh. JILL: This is not Miss America contest. You don't need to smile so big and try to be so cute/sexy. Your version of that song sucked. Patrice: OMG you are such a POSER! Zayra: Why don't you try out for the next Austin Powers movie? Your outfits would fit right in. And every song you sing is like you never heard the correct version before. Josh: You still bore me and you always will.

I thought Storm was polished, professional, and prime. She was just PERFECT.

Of course, my fave, Dillana, is so natural, and unique what she does each week. She was born to do this.

I totally agree with Dave's comment that most of them are going to be invisible in front of Tommy. That's what this is all about ~ LOOK WHO YOU'RE FRONTING. All of these guys were in major hardcore bands with singers that had high energy, creative, crazy, raw, broken molded styles.

That is so cool what they are doing for Magni, bringing his family out!

I was disappointed in Lukas ~ I love that song, and was trying to sing along, but then Lukas didn't sing the vocals right and even omitted vocals! And what was up with turning his back to the audience so much? Once would have been okay.

Jill was very good. Why can't she be that good each time, not only when she has to save herself? I was so surprised Zayra wasn't in the bottom 3.

I think Jill's always a competent singer. I didn't like the song selection. Seemed like she was kissing Gilby's rear. Part of me really feels like she keeps getting a bad rap, but then another part of me realizes that she's probably too clean for this band. She's a good, safe, solid singer, which is sort of like Dana.

I guess the only real scarey part is the "not knowing" i.e. not knowing when it's going to hit, and not knowing how big it's gonna be, etc. etc.

Anyhow, last night was kind of a blur for me.

Zayra has an attitude towards them, though, like I don't think she really wants to be in their band. "Yeah, I've heard of your music." "Well I was in diapers when that came out." "Well I think I did pretty good."

I wish Gilby would comb his hair back and not have it in his face all pretty girl style.

You said it, Neph!!!!!!! I agree completely about Z (I keep calling her Zayra but they pronounce it Zi-ee-duh on the show. Are we spelling it right?) and now that you mention it, I wouldn't mind seeing Gilby with a little 'stringy long haired musician' vibe goin' on either. But, hey, we might as well get over it. That's his MANE we're talkin' about there!!!

I think the reason Brooke pronounces Z's name like that is because she is Latino also, and she's pronouncing the "R" with a hard roll of her tongue.

Oh yeah, Gilby is a Leo so that would be his mane!

Have you noticed that all Leos look like a wild cat, in a certain way? Even though they all look a bit different, you can see a Lion's face shadowing through. (males and females)

Patrice ~ blek ~ what a fake, poseur.

I hope Storm makes it big in her own way - she isn't that GREAT, but I think she has so much potential so I hope she chooses the right path.

I really think Dillana is the only one they'll pick. I don't see anyone else strong enough to front them.

I'm noticing that her natural rhythm and motion is a bit too dance-like if that's possible. It kind of takes away from her looking like a rockstar. She looks a bit more like a teen star or a pop star.

Ryan's really stepping it up!!! NICE! It looks like he was on his way to a solo career before this even started. I wish I could find out his birthday.

Zayra sounds like a deaf woman singing tonight.

Nice surprise by Tommy Lee. Josh's voice is back to nasal...must be singing rock.

Lukas was back in a major way tonight! That was sweet! He's a good example of the quirky moves that make a rock star.

Toby's version of Burning Down the House was pretty awesome, too!

I just wanted to comment on how terrible it is for them to still act like everyone needs to fight over playing with them personally, and then turn around and say that it was an extraordinary night for everyone. Everyone except Josh, Zayra and Patrice did awesome last night. I didn't care for Jill's thoughts on the matter either.

I think Dave seems a little sour since his breakup. He was a lot nicer last season.

Jill's song choice is a loser. I mean, if I was reasonably sure I was going home I'd choose a song that I could have some fun with. That's how I see her song.

Now Josh's seems similar. Maybe they're ready to be done. Josh did good with this one, though.

Yeah, I was totally surprised that Zayra got to stay........that yellow outfit! OMG!

Were they this generous last year? Giving them guitars and taking them to Las Vegas? That is so nice and cool.

Everyone is doing really good but Ryan Star should have just sang his song and not done the weird hair/black makeup thing.

OK so WHAT HAPPENED to their assignment last week of writing the lyrics to the music/song that Supernova wrote?????

The performance with Dilana and Gilby was so magical. I got goosebumps and shivers all over. They are going to be so successful together and I am so happy for her! Now she will be able to send her family $$ in S. Africa! I can't wait to get their CD and go to their show!

I still think Jill's a Taurus, BUT I do see your point. You might be right.
