and for "checking in".....how kind....

I am due to fly out to uk at the weekend...can you believe it I found one last seat to go on Saturday and then I was trying to book it online, the airline said sorry this seat is presently being booked by someone else...!!!

So now I go on Sunday.

My sister has decided to not come back from Spain and asked my father to postpone the funeral until her three week holiday is over....what do ye guys think of that?

Anyway I shall stay with him as long as I can...he is presently heavily sedated... so I feel it wont hit him until after the funeral.

I am taking bach flower remedies and drinking lots of camomile tea....no booze or meds, am trying to go "natural"......I feel if I put a drop of booze in my body I would probably be sick, so I wont risk it....

Thanks again my extended family.....you guys are something else...

I am in sympathy, I lost my mother much the same way last year, and we had been bickering on the phone in my last conversation with her.

Revelation 21:4: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death..."

Look at it this way - you are able to spend more time with your father, it's you he needs, and I can think of no one better to help him through this time.

My sister wouldnt miss a day of her holiday so Dad gave into her (as usual)...the funeral would have been prob at the end of August. but its now 5th September. It means I will miss my son's first day back at school. My Dad says its the last favour he will ever do for her. They had recently said they wouldnt let him see the grandchildren again cos they had an argument

BUT....

Its for my Mum....so as you say, emotions and stuff, although running high, have to be put to one side. Mystic. I said the same words to my dad "Mum wants peace, so we will have to compromise:. I do believe that karma will take care of all else.

This is about love and respect and not the self....its about my Mum...and fighting isnt appropriate at all at this time is it?

Although I must add, I cannot believe a person can be so utterley selfish.... Such is life hey?
