Why don't you start a tribute to your mother thread and not mention family turmoils there?Only talk about nice things like your mother's favorite flower or pet or vacation place or anything but NOT familial troubles!
Your mother would like that.  I got a message once for a man whose mother had died. I did not know he had a sibling. The message was "Please John, do not fight with Tom."(names changed here). He cannot help it, you know what I mean son." The man cried. Yes he had a sibling.
And the message brought him closure. So start a nice no b!tiching thread for your mother!

My dad told me yesterday that for 57 years he never missed a week of not bringing flowers for my mother. He also told me he couldnt see himself ever going with another woman.....he said "your mother could never be replaced" Bless him.... It is so amazingly healing to know that parents are the keepers of memories. My mom & dad were able to tell me a great deal about themselves. They also told me memories of me which helps piece my life together.  I hope your dad will share more stories to help you both heal. IP: Logged |
