1) My Biggest Pet Peeve Of All Time is people who don't wash their hands after going to the toilet! Urrrrgggh. I HATE THAT - what is WRONG with some people?? Its disgusting and ignorant. I feel sorry for their families/kids having to eat food that they've prepared with their dirty hands... (Virgo Sun, cancer rising)2) MORONS who talk during a film in the cinema! I want to take a big rubber hammer and smack their stupid faces in sometimes! I dont want to listen to them gabbing on I want to get lost in the film 3) People who play music out loud on public transport. This always seems to happen on the top floor of buses for some reason. It drives me up the wall!! Some mobile phone speakers are so loud that I have to turn up the volume on my ear phones becuase I can hear their stupid music above my own (better) music!! 4) Mothers with pushchairs/prams who won't move out of the way for you - you have to move for them. And they don't thank you if you do. I had one run over my foot with her pram once because she wanted to push past me on a busy street! Teenage mums are the worst for this, I find. Also mothers who don't keep their kids in line when they misbehave. No wonder kids are so spoilt these days. Of course i have nothing against mothers/babies etc, but just because you're a mum doesn't excuse you from having manners, or respecting others. IP: Logged |

When I first saw this thread, I believed I had really nothing to offer... I'm pretty tolerant and wear my rose colored glasses on a regular basis. I've even been called a pollyanna on more than one occassion...After a while however, I did some soul searching to come up with the following pet peeves of my own: Smelly people, this includes those whom don't care enough about thenselves to shower, as well as those who choose to bath in cologne Cell phones, really if god intended you to have this thing attached to your ear he would have created you with a volume control! Can't eat out anymore without being distacted by some loser sitting right behind you ignoring his own family at the table to loudly converse with the person on the other end of the line, ugh! Grocery shopping is now a nightmare to hear people walking up and down the isles describing in great detail each and every food item on the shelves to thier incompetent or indecisive partners on the phone. Dishonesty, in it's many disguises and forms. It is never a welcome act in my eyes. People lie for the strangest reasons? Excuses, come on people fess up! take responsibility for your actions. Explain yourself -sure... But, show remorse and apologise when necessary! (flaky people often fit into this catgory) Pessimistic/whiney people, One day I may very well, vomit right upon thier shoes. You know those people who believe the world is conspiring against them. Share only negative opinions and thoughts on any given subject. Always complaining about this n' that. Life is just SOooooo unfair, LOL! I wonder even, why they chose life? Drama queens(or; kings), Always have some catastrophy at hand, the world must revolve around them, Favorite phrase "What about ME?" Every situation is treated as life or death in imaginary consequences. No touch with reality what so ever. I see this thread is a year or so old... So let me also say thank you to whom ever bumped it up again IP: Logged |

So glad to vent! When did rudeness become acceptable???? Pretty much all of these replies all center on one thing. Rudeness If you are in the fast lane, and cars are racked up like domino's behind you, move over! No, you are not the self appointed pace car. Cell phones that are not hands free are illegal in a car. Amen Sis-ta *YFIS* to the yell phone having a cell does not make you look more 'in demand' or important. And I too am so bloody sick of the shopper phone. Half the people in the store are steering a cart one handed, whilst loudly conversing about - what?- Nothing! Turn signals are also called indicator lights out of courtesy, you alert other drivers as to your intentions. Modern cars after 1940 or so actually make it possible to use this device with the flick of a finger yet most drivers are physically challenged in this regard...oh and if you do indeed use it, this is supposed to happen before the action. Not when. If you are driving a Grey vehicle and it is twilight, and raining, it might be a good idea to turn your lights on! No, YOU will not see better, but other drivers can actually see you! If you use your brakes on the expressway you are doing something wrong. Following too close, whatever, unless some moron cut you off, and applied his brakes you are doing something wrong. You do not brake on a curve. If an 18 wheeler in the adjacent lane is traveling faster than your $80,000 Mercedes -and you my friend- are braking - you have way too much ride Trade it in for a used Tercel. You are also going against the curve. Any pro driver out there can tell you that you accelerate on the apex of the curve. Not brake When did the words *please* and *thank you * disappear? Only to be brought out in the event of a national disaster? Hummm that might be enough for now IP: Logged |

Lets face it - The passing lane can rarely be utilized for it's intended purpose. Many drivers only drive in that lane period! They dive across all the lanes upon entering the expressway, and then camp there. [often on the phone] Diving laterally across again to exit. On regular commutes I see the same people doing this every darn day. It is BAU = Buisness as usual IP: Logged |

1. People who don't train their dogs. 2. People who patronize. 3. People who don't smell good (i.e. I don't mind fresh male sweat, but can do without the decaf.coffee/smoke/alcohol/fast-food MSG smells). 4. People of normal intelligence, who act stupidly for the vast majority of the time, and could do better, but don't bother to improve themselves, EVER. 5. People who make fun of people with special needs or learning difficulties. This really drives me crazy. 6. People who expect the world, without having to work for it or do anything in return. 7. People who are unjustifiably horrible to their children. 8. People who don't tend to think. 9. Certain accents. IP: Logged |
