I have noticed that the songs that touch me deepest seem to be by bands whose main singer is a Water sign. For example Nickelback has the amazing ability to push me intro introspection and Chad Kroeger is a Scorpio. Breaking Benjamin also moves me and the lead singer is a Pisces. David Michael Draiman of Disturbed (my fav band) is also a Pisces. I wonder if anyone else noticed that pattern. My moon is in Scoprio so im guessing this might have something to do with it. Hmmm.. well, I have a Capricorn moon, so maybe that is why I catch his vibe so clearly. 
Thanks for looking that up.
I like Hinder's "Lips of an Angel". I really dig what he does with his voice. Now, I'll have to look him up... and past my bedtime too!!!

Chris Cornell's another water sign sun singer.My favorite water sign singer (that I'm aware of) is Harriet Wheeler of The Sundays. A band whose words have pushed me into contemplation is James. They have an Aquarian lead singer. I do enjoy the Taurus singers: Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Robert Smith (The Cure), Bono (U2), Paul Banks (Interpol), etc. I have no Taurus in my chart. I also like singers whose sun matches my ascendant: Morrissey, Richard Butler, and Gary Lightbody. I'm even cool with Alanis Morrisette. Lots of rock stars share my sun sign. My favorites among them: David Bowie, Annie Lennox, and Bernard Sumner. Oh, and the only artist whose sun sign matches my moon sign that I enjoy is Fiona Apple. IP: Logged |

AG: You and my Capricorn friend have a lot of similar tastes in music. I have no idea what the astrological make up is of the few I listed.

I love Robert Plant's version of Song To The Siren. My Morning Jacket The Allman Brothers John Coltrane Neil Young I also love the old gritty blues. The kind that you can almost smell the B.O. in the air when you listen to it  There are more... but those are the few that first come to mind. _________________________________________

I've read a lot that says that Taurus are good singers... I'm sure water signs are too because of the emotional aspect. Earth signs have the diligence and hard work ethic to become great... I bet a little fire helps it all along too. I suppose Air adds some interesting ideas...
I'm sure it's as complicated as a romantic compatibility/synastry. I like the Disturbed lead singer's emotional delivery too...
