4. Do you hang mistletoe? I think this year I will carry a mistletoe in my persue, have a person or two I want to kiss,good excuse to do so..

5. When do you put your decorations up? Well when I was growing up my grandmother did not put the tree up util Christmas Eve, so I tend to be a last minut person, Howeve I have some very anxious boys who are bugging the hell out of me to do it like now..This weekend we will..

6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Mom's/Aunts Mac and cheese ooohhh so good and fatty,,,

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Well one year I think I was like 11/12 I got these cool headphones the really big kind, first make of headphones I love those things..Holly Hobbie I love her got alot of her stuff..Hanging out with the family was a treat too..

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I knew early on that mommy and my dad was buying things got up one night to potty and found them wrapping gifts..

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? I let my kids open a gift on Christmas if they want, they bug the hell out of me to do so anyway..

10. How do you decorate your Christmas? Lights and garland and balls nothing too extra

11. Snow? From the inside looking out its beautiful, but I hate the snow so I rather not have a snowy Christmas..

Santa loves wrapping presents!

I wait for a snowy evening when everyone is home to go out shopping for our tree. I still don't have my tree yet.

Everything. I can't pick a favorite.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?

I got one of those 100+ piece packages of clothes for my Barbies. I loved this gift because I rarely got to get clothes for myself that I liked, but Barbie had the prettiest things.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?

I "knew" but preferred not to have that official confirmation. It came before I was ready for it.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?

On Christmas Eve we open one gift and it's always pajamas. I'll be 30 next week and I still insist that my mother buy my Christmas jammies!

10. How do you decorate your Christmas?

I have a theme every year for my tree. This year it's Baby's First Christmas.

11. Snow?

I have lots of windows in my apartment and in the restaurant where I work, so it looks like a beautful snowglobe wherever I am. I love the snow. I hate the cold.

12. Can you ice skate?

Not beautifully, but I can do it for fun. I've ice skated on rivers and ponds around here. Even big frozen puddles in the yard when heavy rains froze over.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?

I guess you already know!

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?

I love the traditions and rituals, the food, and of course shopping! I love that feeling of "normal life" being on hold for a month.

Any cake, cookie, or pie.

The jammies.

It's different every year.

Hot Chocolate!!! I love it with a passion. Egg Nog makes me squirm LOL....

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Hmmm.... I love the wrapping more than the gift.. I think it has to do with bright shiny colors- which is probably why I love Christmas with all the blinky lights

Colored lights.. preferrable blinky ones and of course, ornaments I have collected over time. I have to from my nephews with their handprint in white pant on them. They turned their little fingers into snowmen.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? Not normally - I have cats- but when Bear comes home he will BE my mistletoe.. hee hee... smoochie smoochie....

5. When do you put your decorations up? Right after Thanksgiving or no later than the 16th (b-day)

6. What is your favorite holiday dish? I'd say glazed ham and stuffing.. but I am soooooo tired of ham- that is what I made for Thanksgiving and I have it coming out of my ears.

Colored lights.. all red or all one color.My last tree had all red.

I open lots of gifts on xmas eve, it is tradition to go to my grandma's on xmas eve and open presents they got, so they have a nice quiet xmas day to themselves.

It's mostly the same every year with a little variation...putting the tree together (artificial), putting lights and all sorts of decorations on it, and then going crazy throughout the living room.

Yes please.

Not really, I tried with my mom's skates but was unsuccessful. Maybe again this year!

I can't decide! I like a lot of the things I've gotten.

The traditions, the music, it tends to be a time when I get to hang out with my Grandma who I don't see too often, the warm feeling, and the feeling that there's stuff going on in the dead of winter, which I DON'T get in January or February. It's kind of a break from what I tend to see as the drudgery of life.

Edit - Wait... I almost forgot my favorite Christmas memory as an adult.

My daughter and I were stopped at the road coming from my drive... a buck saw the jeep and started charging towards us....

I was saying something like "Oh god"... daughter was saying "hurry up... stomp it" (referring to gas pedal)

I accidently threw it in reverse..... the deer was coming at us fast.... she was laughing so hard she peed her pants...

They come wrapped, unless they're big presents, then they just get a big bow put on them.

Hot Chocolate, definitely. Though a smidgen of Egg Nog is nice at Christmas, but just a little.

Don't the elves wrap them? Poor Santa has enough to do figuring out who's been naughty or nice, going over all those lists, and flyin' all over the place, bless his heart!

The white lights look so pretty, but I prefer the colored ones for our tree. If I get motivated to hang 'em outside I like the white best. Kinda looks like snow/ice sorta.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?

No, I rarely think of it, till I see it somewhere else.

5. When do you put your decorations up?

I like to have them up right after Thanksgiving, however that doesn't mean I get it done then. Still haven't gotten anything up yet. Most of my neighbors have already so every night when I get home I feel like a scrooge with the bare house.

All the baked goodies. It's the one time of year when everyone turns into a baker! YIPPEE!

Getting together with all my relatives. My cousins and I wearing our new clothes having fun with all the new stuff we got. All the grown ups were in such a good mood, no one could do any wrong on Christmas!

I have no idea! I'm the oldest so probably in school some time.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?

Sometimes. Usually my son is the one who just has to open something.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas?

Lights, garland and decorations collected over the years.

11. Snow?

It's the one thing I miss the most living in the tropics.

I used to skate as a kid, I'd be scared to try now, LOL

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?

My very own stereo system when I was in 7th grade.

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? The spirit the world seems to embrace during the holidays, wish it was like that all the time.

These pecan cookies my mom makes. They have so much darn butter in them they practically melt in your mouth...I'm drooling now!!!!

16. What is your favorite Holiday tradition? Those pecan cookies!

17. What tops your tree?

Usually an angel, once or twice it was a star.

18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving?

Giving is more exciting, but receiving is nice too.

Well, I might just add some egg nog to my hot chocolate to cool it some. I like both a whole lot (though you certainly can overdo egg nog).

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?

Depends on how challenging the gift is.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?

You decorate it, so you can choose. I'm totally not into decorating either, though I'll help if a friend asks.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?

Nope. I'm not generally at my own residence at Christmas, so it's really my family's job to consider that stuff.

5. When do you put your decorations up?

I don't (once again), and I'm so happy about that.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?

Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?

I cried when I got a [musical] keyboard one year. My parents had assured me that money was tight that year, so I wasn't expecting much.

I think my mom told me thinking that I already knew... I probably did. I don't remember. Certainly not a heartbreaker.

Yes, we've done that. I personally don't engage in that every year. My mom did start giving me PJs later in life, and I still look forward to those. I don't think I got any last year, but I am a faithful PJ wearer.

However the person who's into it wants me to.

Maybe this year. I'm going to Nashville. Usually I spend Christmas in Southern California, and there's no snow there.

Yes, though I haven't done it much. I'm very disappointed to have gotten into hockey so late in life. Next life I'd really to play.

Yeah, it was probably that keyboard.

Family. It's the only time of year that I see them. Sucks in a way, but it's also great in that I feel like a total celebrity when my family greets me.
