lllol Nat...sighing and rolling your eyes over. I can hear you load and clear, i do that so often while at the movies, it became a habit. It so rare to find a movie that`s really captivating....*sigh* does your Gemini Moon leaves you hyped up? I`m bouncing off the wall from the morning. My Scorpio man is near total exhaustion because of me. Last time we went hiking in the Smokey`s, i was running and jumping like a goat up the mountain and I heard him sighing short of breath - *oh jesus help me*. hahehe, i couldnt stop laughing till the end of the trip.. Wait a minute, are you saying that the movie pieces together Mayan decline with the arrival of the Spainiards? If so, then obviously Mel Gibson needs to go back to history Class .

I don`t know what you meant by this comment, Dulce. Perhaps you need to elaborate?Well, some historical books claim that the Mayan empire started to decline long before the arrival of the europeans (around the 12 century) but other swear that actually the brutal colonisation of the region by the europeans at the end of the 14 C. led to mayan`s total collapse. Who knows..Its been said, and the movie emphasise on it too, that mayans themselves foresaw the arrIval of the europeans and their own decline and described it in their astro calendar long before the actual meeting took place. There are still living mayans nowadays... IP: Logged |

Hey, Jazzabel, No, I'm just the opposite. I'm on chill most of the time. Could be the Cap Rising. But I do attract Scorpios too. If there's one in the room.... IP: Logged |

LMAO, True Dat! Anyways Jazzebel, I know that the Mayas still exist I just thought that the Maya Empire collapsed/declined way before the Spanairds set foot on Mexico. Like I'm talking 8th-9th Century. A Maya woman (Malinche/Dona Marina) was partly responsible for the collapse of the Aztec Empire by the Spaniards, that much is true. But alas, Historical Accuracy has never been Hollywood's strong point so I guess I'm rambling.
