That first Alabama 3 song doesn't sound like them... at least not the Alabama 3 that did the Sopranos theme song. The vocal seems too high pitched.Listening to the second one now. This one sounds like Alabama 3. The vocal is richer and deeper, much more cool and sinister.
I wonder why the first Alabama 3 one sounds different. Maybe they had a different singer for that one.
I have a CD sampler somewhere that I got while still in the Navy that has that Sopranos theme on it. Got it before that show ever surfaced. If you're not familiar with the song it's on their home page: http://www.alabama3.co.uk/ It's kind of hidden in the upper left hand corner of most of the pages.
Makes me want to get one of their albums. I like their style.
As far as the loops, I'm on a bit of a Christmas break from serious music-making. I listened to them, though.
