I'm sorta feeling this, I just feel like life slows down too much in the winter. I don't feel very free. You know how when it gets warm and everyone's outside and being all friendly? I miss that! Also I'm outdoorsy and I'm not comfortable when it hits freezing and I tend to spend too much time inside. And there's not much to do!Haha I sound like I'm whining, oh god! IP: Logged |

January is the worst for me.. After the holidays...just putting the decorations away is depressing at times... Fortunately, It is 61 degrees outside today and the sun peeks through... So take advantage of any sunshine you can get... It really does help Also, as a Virgo who can whine with the best of them , I found that making plans for combating the blues now, helps. You have something to look forward to. I just set up a weekend getaway with my kids at a cabin about an hour away. Its near an area with alot of caves and glacier formations.. Frozen waterfall right outside the window... ahh! Just thinking about stuff like that helps I also rethink my exercise routine... or put one back into action depending on "where I'm at" this time of year. And implement it ASAP. Exercise is probably the best way to get ya out of a funk and.. keeps you away from the funks for good. IP: Logged |

You should come to Aus, it's summer here! We don't get a 'white christmas' though... and it's funny actually because people still cook hot dinners despite the stifling heat! I would love to come to Canada and have a traditional christmas... Actually the weather's not the best this summer cos the air is very very smokey. Most of the state has been on fire for over two weeks now - more than half a million hectares of bushland has been lost. So see, the winter's not so depressing, is it?IP: Logged |

No snow in sight yet near Toronto...(we dont always get a white Christmas). The temp the last few days have been nice around 8-10 deg C during the day...which is actually abnormal temp for this time of year. Im not bothered by the cold as much as Im bothered by the lack of daylight. How cold does it get in dubai? Does it rain their constantly this time of the year? IP: Logged |

Hi there DT Gem! I guess I share ~nae reply. Considering what Aus seems to be going through - appreciate all your lovely rain and snow - god knows we need it here! Thank the heavens for cold wet weather because with out it you are where we are down under - drought, water restrictions, and limited water to put out fires!!! Have a nice cup of hot chocolate and sit in front of a fire or snuggle in bed!! Really wishing it would rain here... Ausra xxoo IP: Logged |
