Has anyone had any joyful experiences of late which warmed their heart and lifted their spirits.I was in the music session on Friday night and met a guy from the city. He was involved in the theatre, quite flambouyant but very sensitive and genuine. After asking him to sing a song and him saying "aaah I am not up much for singing(?), he grabbed a guitar from someone and broke into the most beautiful song!! His voice was amazing. Later on I asked him to do another and he resisted, but in the end he gave in. He said does anyone know "She's leaving home" by the Beatles? I said I did. So we sang it together...I did the backing vocals and he the main song... God...it was one of the most joyful experiences I have had of late....two strangers united in music and song...never met before and yet so connected ! So spontaneous! I asked his sign. he said Cancer...I said I thought he was water....(very sensitive and passionate man). I told him i was a Scorpio and he replied "aaahh sure they wait in long grass dont they" and then laughed....? He was a lovely man.....I may never see him again, but I shall always remember the feeling of singing with him... PURE JOY... IP: Logged |
