Not trying to be a total cynic here or anything, but Harrison ain't cut out for Indiana movies anymore. I am getting a feeling the jokes will more center around Harrison's Seniority rather than Indi's onscreen antics Lol!George Lucas says he plans to shoot fourth 'Indiana Jones' movie in 2007 BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - George Lucas said Friday that filming of the long-awaited "Indiana Jones" movie will begin next year. Harrison Ford, who appeared in the three earlier flicks, the last one coming in 1989, is set to star again. Lucas said he and Steven Spielberg recently finalized the script for the film. "It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet," the 62-year-old filmmaker said during a break from preparing for his duties as grand marshal of Monday's Rose Parade. Exact film locations have not been decided yet, but Lucas said part of the movie will be shot in Los Angeles. The fourth chapter of the "Indiana Jones" saga, which will hit theatres in May 2008, has been in development for over a decade with several screenwriters taking a crack at the script, but it only recently gained momentum. Lucas kept mum about the plot, but said that the latest action flick will be a "character piece" that will include "very interesting mysteries." "I think it's going to be really cool," Lucas said. At the inaugural Rome Film Festival in October, the 64-year-old Ford said he was excited to team up with Lucas and Spielberg again for the fourth "Indiana Jones" instalment. Ford said he was "fit to continue" to play the title role despite his age. Ford played Indiana Jones in 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark," 1984's "Temple of Doom" and 1989's "The Last Crusade." Lucas praised Ford for breathing life into his character. "Mostly it's the charm of Harrison that makes it work," he said.

I was hoping this wouldn't happen. George Lucas all but destroyed his Star Wars legacy with the last three films, I don't want the same to happen to Indy.IP: Logged |

MysticMelody:Lol! Well nothing aganist the man, but can you still picture the guy as Indiana Jones? Lol! Rob_W: Exactly! I seriously regret the day I got talked into watching the third Episode. If anyone wants a clear cut defination of what an "emo" is, look no further than Anakin Skywalker.

LOL oh wow i love Indiana Jones movies, they are like the cooler version of James Bond, but i wonder if they can come up with something as good as before. Speaking of did anyone ever watch the show Relic Hunter? That was so very very very me, an ancient studies professor by day secret artifact hunter by night -> Gemini Scorpio Libra would be mucho pleased IP: Logged |

Jame Bond Trumps Indy any day Lol! James Bond is a timeless character that goes far beyond simple wishy washy Indy. The simple line "Women want him; Men want to be like him" says enough about the character Lol! Yes some of the new Bond movies have been a tad disappointment and the new Bond Song by Madonna can well be descibed as "Nails of a chalkboard." However, he's THE man and always will be my fav. movie character. IP: Logged |

Oh, well enjoy your present! Don't shoot me down for this but I only like the more modern versions of the James Bond (haven't seen the new one yet). I watched the old ones with Grandfather and thought the acting was kind of cheesy. Yep, I should've thought of getting that as a present for him. IP: Logged |

Nah! No shooting here Lol!Well yes, some of the older Bond flicks were a tad... Tasteless. Bond is only as good as the actor that portrays him. Best on this list: Pierce Brosnan. Hands down. The guy was born to play Bond. However, its Sean Connery that gave the character its original life and well... Though he may not have the same assistance of modern CG and Movie magic Lol, he captured the essence of Bond pretty well . IP: Logged |

LOL id have to disagree with you here , maybe Pierce Brosnan didnt play him well enough or what but i dislike Bond's personality. I wonder what sign would he be? I mean the way he uses women ticks me off, I am a moon in Scorpio after all id have him killed lol. Plus I always like the bad girls and they ran out of them in the last one. I saw Casino Royale and it was actually good but the women were sooo flaky and one-dimentional. I was praying to every deity alike that the chick would whind up being evil because that would add some depth to her. *sigh* All in all I dont know what women want him but id never! The whole cheating man and Scorpio moon woman = grounds for arsenic in a drink. lol just kidding BTW have u ever heard/saw the movie/broadway musical Chicago? Its amazing i reccomend to everyone. There is this one song Cell Block Tango that i just adore (partially cuz im obsessed with Tango). James Bond would fall into the category of the guy who got poisoned. Here are the lyrics from that part:
[ANNIE (Spoken)] I met Ezekiel Young from Salt Lake city about two years ago, and he told me he was single and we hit it off right away. So, we started living together. He'd go to work, he'd come home, I'd fix him a drink, We'd have dinner. And then I found out, "Single" he told me? Single, my ass. Not only was he married ...oh, no, he had six wives. One of those Mormons, you know. So that night, when he came home from work, I fixed him his drink as usual. You know, some guys just can't hold their arsenic. [ALL] He had it coming He had it coming He took a flower In its prime And then he used it And he abused it It was a murder But not a crime! Not that Indy doesnt use women and all but at least he finds cool ancient artifacts and thats a plus in my book any day! Ill be honest though if Bond was a woman he would be my favorite character IP: Logged |

All in all while the movies are good its the whole promiscuity that gets me lol. My favorite male characters are usually villains in fantasy movies, or just any villain. I love my villains, ie Darth Vader especially if they were good in the beginning and then lost their way. Yummy. Of course this is coming from someone whose all time favorite fictional female character is Lady Macbeth. IP: Logged |

Oh no doubt he is a womanizer Lol! But you do have to consider the fact that not EVERY woman cares for a long term commitment. For some, its just a simple meet and greet and sometimes its just a meet and greet with "benifits" so to speak LOL! (Don't deny it ladies, you know its true . ) There was this article I read on MSN a while ago indicatingwhy Bond would make the worst boyfired Lol! However, the same article did indicate the fact that its that sense of danger and excitement for that brief period of time is what maginitizes women to that character so much. They know its not gonna last but for that brief period of time, its excitement beyond that everyday routine Lol! Though yes, Bond has had his fare share of equals when it comes to villans. Personal fav. happens to be "Gustoff Graves" from Tomorrow never dies. Female Bond villan... Hmmm... tough one. I would have to say Xenia Onatopp (that killer Russian Beauty) from Golden Eye. Man! She is vicious, psycotic and just perfect Lol! IP: Logged |

I actually didn't think that Sean Connery did such a bad job at the Bond Character. I think it was the female sidekicks that made it sooo cheestastic. Especially the one where there was the Russian spy and they were in the Middle East(I don't even remember the name....sorry guys, all I remember is that it was from the 60's...but it wasn't Sean Connery in it.). Pierce Brosnan was sexy as James Bond IMHO. I haven't seen the new one with the new guy they picked. But if were my decision, I would've had George Clooney play the part. Did you see how smooth he was in Ocean's 11...and plus he's georgeous . quote: mean the way he uses women ticks me off, I am a moon in Scorpio after all id have him killed lol.
Me and my sister asked the asked the same thing. Why he always with a different woman every damn movie? But then we came up with the answer ourselves. Basically since he's a secret agent, he can't be expected to have a stable and working relationship.LOL And back to the subject on Indiana Jones...I remember seeing one and vaguely a second one. I only remember the first one I saw, it was probably the first one made as it started from his boyhood. IP: Logged |

Okay fair enough it just seems that some of the women he's with he promises them the world and then they get killed or something or he cheats on them. But your right if they dont care, I dont care lol. Despite being a Gemini Sun opposing Uranus (ie i love my danger and exhitment) the whole short term doesnt really go with me, which is what i complain about all the time. I wish it did lol. {quote]Xenia Onatopp (that killer Russian Beauty) from Golden Eye. Man! She is vicious, psycotic and just perfect Lol!
Hahah i had her in mind when i said it, i just didnt wanna say say it because im russian and that would seem a bit vain. But id say thats someone who would make it to my role model's list. Actually i love femme fatales with seductive powers and brains to go with it. In history too. My favorite historical person is Haseki Hurrem the wife of Sultan Suleyman of Ottoman Empire believed to have bewitched him and considered one of the first women of her time to arrive to such a high status and esteem in a Muslim empire. She actually is a village girl from a small town in Western Ukraine and considered a national heroine. Her real name is Anastasia Lisovska and i adore her. The woman did cause the deaths of many by executing and getting rid of her enemies but who doesnt love a gorgeous, manipulative queen. I do (they call her Ukranian Lady Macbeth lol more reasons i loveeee her) PS Golden Eye is a hot song IP: Logged |

I actually should watch the older ones im not too familiar with them. I think James Bond is a symbol of a decade, i think he should always be an anti Communist spy. If he changes with world conflict it will loose its appeal. quote: Basically since he's a secret agent, he can't be expected to have a stable and working relationship.LOL
Oh poo there go my dreams of being a secret agent. If only i wasnt a LIbra rising, id give away myself too much lol.But the moon loooves it. IP: Logged |

Hmmm... Not necessarily. Actually, Brosnan did quite good in Tomorrow never dies. He gets to work with A Chinese Agent in that one and the whole approach to diabolical plans takes a step further with a media Mogul as the mastermind. Oh you have to listen to "The World is not Enough." If you like Femme Fatale types, that's the song for you Lol! Edit: Hmmm... I wonder who she looks like : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYbLR67_F9E IP: Logged |

Precisly one of the reasons why Bond movies have taken a rool back to the origin of the character . In short; The producers are just running out of world conflict senerios (without erking off majority of the world's population Lol!)IP: Logged |
