When that song was popular was when I was the age in the song lol. 1993 That was when Nirvana had the monolopy on the phrase "angst". And songs the topic one was describing how the youth of America was feeling.
There was also a hanging, at the begining og the year the first since 1966.

Well, sadam hussein was hung, a man who committed atrocites against women and children,at the begining/end of year.

I am not saying and did not mean to imply the song is "about" bush, lol
