I was at a gig and when it was over I met someone I knew and was chatting to her. As I reached for the door, a man opened it for me and I looked at him and recognised who he was. "Is that Steve Coogan", I asked him, and he replied "yes I am the doorman tonight".

He is one of the funniest men I ever (met). My hubbie and I have spent many an hour rolling around the floor laughing at him.

Apparently he lives in London, but comes to Ireland to write and rest. His parents are Irish.

I wished now I had chatted with him, but didnt wanna invade his privacy....he must get p***** off with people at times.

Shall I find out where he is staying....knock on his door and shout "AHHAAAA"

Now I bet that would REALLY p*** him off....
