I dont' think clever in itself is a problem.

It might be a problem for you if you're trying to pull something off.

Otherwise, factors like mental illness, anger problems, sloth, substance abuse problems, type A personalities tend to be more problematic.

I would say manipulators are hard to live with. Cleverness may be manipulative but maybe not.

I agree with AG - dumb@sses are worse, and spitefull a-holes even worse yet.

Clever people are handy, especially if there's a conundrum of some sort effecting the household.

Clever is good, as long as the person is a NICE person, and not a jerk.

LOL. Yes that's when we clever folk really shine.

I say we're a pain to live with because it's hard for other people to get away with their usual nonsense. But I'm pretty easy to live with othewise.

If clever people are humble enough not to be bothered being with less clever people, then i dont think there will be any problem. It is a beautiful thing to see that clever people share their wisdom with others. On the other hand, wisecrack-syndrome may lead less clever people doubt clever people's level of intelligence.

Just because someone's clever doesn't mean they possess wisdom. You can take that one to the bank.

And if a clever person doesn't possess humilty, they're pretty much their own worst enemy, i.e. "too smart for their own good."

A clever person is only a pain to live with if you're trying to pull a fast one on them (And why would you do that anyways?). Otherwise there should be no problems.
