All prayers involving car answered The Universe Answered me less than 5 minutes after my initial prayer and pretty much orchestrated the entire break down scene to introduce me to cool car mechanic guy who happens to know the Virgo/Aries girl I met last summer. He and his gf are friends with her. I wasn't halfway through the "story" when Virgo/Aries guessed mechanic guy's name. Small world Thanks to later prayers from you two , he got it to start and I got to run my errands, better late than never... Ahh, babies are so appreciative. I read something about a mom saying she would act in the most ridiculous ways because she knew it would make baby smile and I thought of that every time I was doing the exact same thing! lol I still do it. I was just chasing my daughter around the house two and three days ago as a "chicken-lizard". This is a creation of my own based loosely around the *atrocious spelling alert* valosa raptor from Jurrasic Park (no, I don't let my 4 year old watch those!hehe) and I am not very scary so I go for more of a ridiculous tongue darting, chicken winged creature who walks/runs in a style reminiscent of Monty Pythons silly walks. I also say "HISS HISS" and "CAW CAW" a lot. You should see her smiling and laughing. She escapes me and I lurk in hiding places until she comes back to investigate and then I POP back up, tilt my head to one side and look at her with crazy eyes. Just when she looks like she might be actually getting nervous I say a stupid "CAW!" or dart my tongue out and "HISS" at her and she starts screaming with laughter again and the chase is on. Hey Everybody... CAW!

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. (It's time I had some time alone.) Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning, blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh, this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. (It's time I had some time alone.) The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite. Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam, but neck, right? Right. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

My thoughts exactly (hehe no, I don't know WHAT the heck you are thinking, as usual!) I am preparing my daughter for the End of the World! I figure she will be ready for any random mutant dinosaur attacks...So, is this a prediction or are you planning the world's destruction? You aren't, by chance, stroking a cat (real or stuffed) as you cut and paste? IP: Logged |

~ does "polically correct" actually make the world a better place, or is it the equivalent of sweeping the dirt under the rug?IP: Logged |

A strong man can make his peace with life, for it fears him, and will seek an alliance, but a weak man must grab life by the horns, and wrestle it to the ground; life won't hesitate to trample a weak man. Before he can make his peace, he must first become strong.IP: Logged |

~I'm in a chick flick induced daze. "Alex and Emma" tra la la la la *strewing flowers, songbirds swooping above me engaged in harmonic medodies to my tra la la's, small furry creatures frolicking near my feet....* I spent about 4 hours at a playground/park yesterday watching youthful merriment and chasing after children, with flapping wings and large "CAW CAW"'s. They were actually fleeing a "dragon" that had sprung up briefly after my daughter mentioned not falling in the "lava" (uh, I might have given her THAT idea) but I didn't know how to do good sound effects for a dragon, so after a few fumbling attempts at breathing fire and roaring I went for the old stand-by. CAW!!! I let them defeat me and I ran away, but they all just followed yelling "Chase ME! Chase ME!" The CAW is a big hit hehe YAY! SPRING BREAK!!!!! IP: Logged |

I SO remember the lava game. Very good for jumping and balancing skills...I still like to walk on narrow curbs (kind of like balance beam) whenever I can find them.I like this thread, people can just sort of say anything random, fun stuff. I always like randomness because it allows connections between abstract concepts and creativity. I picked up this random book in the library yesterday called "sex, drugs, einstein, and elves," which was really cool, completely random, but an overall kinda blow your mind about perceptions theme. The author talked alot about how different drug experiences/mental illnesses can create alternate realities, which in effect are real the perceiver, and therefore might as well be real. He talks alot how people see elves in various states of altered consciouness, and how elves are kind of a pan cultural phenomenon...they defintely make good cookies. At then end of the book there's a page that states, "if aliens or englightened beings from another time or planet have the ability to travel through time or space, they could certainly put a message in the box below, we are awaiting that message." Oh man I could have SWORN I saw text in that box for a second. Totally flipped me out. LOL I love this author, Clifford Pickover. HSC, is not a weak man strong by his submission though? I guess it depends how you define weak, but sometimes submitting to the world as a doormat has its own kind of special strength. Eastern spiritualities often identify water as a strong element, but earth as brittle and work. (Edit, oops i meant WEAK, i make so many freudian slips in my posts) I have a physiology exam in 3.5 hours, my sympathetic nervous sytem pouring norepinephrine onto my alimentary canal...that is I have butterflies in my stomach. Also I have to pee. IP: Logged |

BlueRoamer, I love your random thoughts! I was alternating between random (or not) feelings of nostalgia, awe at your brilliant thoughts and excellent book choice, laughter at your humor, and awe at the book in general. I had so many random (or not) thoughts during that post that I can't remember all of them. Thanks Excellent!(I still balance and jump on things too... only now I can get really weird about it because I "have a kid" so people just smile at what a good mom I am instead of staring at me like I am a lunatic... hehe ) IP: Logged |

There was snow finishing up it's melt just yesterday from the HUGE ice-storm (that took down tree branches and electric lines and left much of our area without power for days) less than a couple of weeks ago! ~I'm drowning in chick flick induced emotion Hold me like a mother would Like I always knew somebody should though tomorrow don't look that good Well, it just goes to show
Though people say we're an unlikely couple I'm seeing double of you Oh. This is life This is life And everything's all right Living living living living living living living living life Oh I'm hoping though because I'm learning to cope with the emotion-less mediocrity Oh. Day-to-day living Oh I can't help being restless When everything's so tasteless And all the colors seem to have faded away. Oh. This is life This is life And everything's all right Living living living living living living living living life Hold me like a mother would Like I always knew somebody should, yeah. though tomorrow don't look that good Well, just goes to show Though people say we're an unlikely couple Doris Day, and Mott the Hoople Ohhh,..
