p.s. You're very much needed around here, and don't you forget it. Without your informative posts on astrology, Starcasts, or for that matter, the Bizarre Holidays, I just wouldn't know what to do with my days, LOL!

*droooooooooool* That looks SO yummy, BM! WHY I didn't think of that yummy type of frozen food, is beyond me. Me needs help, LOL! I haven't had yummy dessert in so long, perhaps that's what I'll do today...

p.s. I've got Stouffer's spinach souffle to help me mark the day already. (let's see if anyone else drools over that)

Ok, so I missed National Crown Roast of Pork day, being a vegetarian, but hope you all had a lovely one! Today also happened to be "Panic Diet day", according to the folks at the radio station I listen to. Unfortunately, I ate a high-calorie, high-fat meal for lunch, and pigged out on chocolate chip cookies, so it didn't work out that way. But perhaps all this set me up for "panic diet" mode!!

Don't forget, tomorrow, you have license to "Be Nasty"!!

If you don't know how to do it, look to these role models:

If you do make it, you get one of these T-shirts:

I am not very good at being nasty.

Remember this album? I use to love it when I was a teen.

Oh, how sweet is this... today's the Festival of Life in the Cracks. Reminds one that life can flourish anywhere & everywhere, whether under the scorching sun in arid desert sands, or in icy cold environments one where would not expect to find life, or yes, even in the cracks...

oooh, check this out:

Life in Europa's Icy Crust

Thw cracks in Europa's icy crust are where life is most likely to be found on the Jovian moon, the conference heard last week.

This means it might be possible to find life without having to drill down to the ocean far beneath the ice. It also means that any terrestrial stowaways on a space probe could easily contaminate Europa.

The cracks would provide an ideal home for life, says Richard Greenberg of the University of Arizona in Tucson. Tides caused by Jupiter's strong gravitational pull make warm water flow up and down the cracks, creating a rich chemistry along the fissures. "That makes Europa extremely habitable," says Greenberg.

I love Hitchcock too! Loved the theme song to his "Alfred Hitchcock presents..." series!

Tomorrow's the birthday of the love of my life..., and incidentally, a day to celebrate these:
