Thank you all.Other than having a few contractions while last minute grocery shopping, and a few at home, and being astoundingly grumpy and tired... and then waking up with extreme hip pain... No progress. This baby is staying put. * sigh* He's very large. It hurts when he moves. That certainly doesn't stop him from moving ( Which I'm good with because it keeps me secure that he's safe.) It sets off firey nerve pain down my thighs and sciatic nerve. Also various internal organs have seen better days. The pressure is unbelievable. There are beautiful things about being pregnant. But a woman who is full term is just ready for it to be over. My son's going away on monday, until the seventh, on a long anticipated school trip. He is sooooooo excited! I wrongly assumed the baby would be here before now, therefore he would meet his brother before he went. Most likely, baby will come while he is gone. *sigh* Thanks for letting me complain.
And thank you all for saying such nice things and sending me such great vibes. I hope they safely work soon. As it is my baby thwarted the moon. IP: Logged |

Sorry that you're uncomfortable, Pix. Much love to you and your son. (Though maybe you should give him a firm talking to when he arrives!) IP: Logged |

I am totally ignoring the other crap going on in here today.Sheesh, I haven't got the spirit to delve into all this much today. So much discord, I have no desire. Just wanted to report, I went to the midwife, and I haven't made much progress from last week. ( Much= any, really) and though it's an estimate, I might be pregnant still until the weekend. I have three days until my suggested expiration date, and I think I have to wrap my brain around going until then or perhaps longer. my first went two weeks early, my second went right on time, and so naturally, my third would choose the default of after. He's going to be my biggest too, which is sort of sucky. I'm a little bummed about it, because at this point, I am very sore, feeling more ( due to the nature of subsequent babies, body responds stronger to things such as hormones and ligaments stretching, etc.) So my sciatica is crazy, I am generally sore and tired of being pregnant, but I will endure because Elliot wants to stick in here a bit more. I can't argue, he'll be too cute, and i'll just want to kiss his face. I just figured I'd post this and then hopefully the next time I post anything pregnancy related, it's to say he's made the trip healthy and beautiful ( and fast enough to not hurt mommy too much...hehe) and that he did want to stay until mercury went direct again. I noticed that Earth thing too.... I was bummed he didn't come during the Full Moon eclipse in Virgo. That would've worked well in family dynamics I thought.. alas, he has his own agenda. Thanks for the loving everyone. IP: Logged |

When I was soo tired of being preggers with twins, I had a nice glass of wine, a hot bath and some hot sex, well as hot as it can get preggers with twins, before I went to bed, and sure enough 5 AM I woke up and was in labor. Works everytime. Try that and see how you do. Love, GG ------------------ After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." - Aldous Huxley IP: Logged |

Tried it. I will definitely try it again before I give up completely. The problem is now, I don't want him to come this week, until at least thursday or fri.... he missed the window of convenience this weekend would've been. Thanks for the tips. My midwife calls them the three 'hots' Hot sex, Hot baths, Hot spicy food. How come I didn't know you had twins??? That's awesome! IP: Logged |
