He received the first package I sent him already and me this morning cracking up over my tape job. I'm a terrible box taper and I am a terrible present wrapper LMAO... hee hee... Saggie thing huh?

He is in great spirits and is looking forward to the end of summer when he can come home.

Where did you find that picture? Is there a way to order that from a website? I have another Army Bear with a cute booney (sp) hat on that I have in my room. I'd love to order that Bear in the pic you posted.

Its me again. Everything is going good here. Its starting to warm up and is very bright during the day from the sun.

Moral has improved greatly from reading the posts on here and to know so many support what they do and care.

That bear is really cool and thank you for posting it Eleanore. The joes liked it also.

My platoon and I are safe look forward to being back with our loved ones. Thank you again for the support you all give.

I just wanted to post an update. All is going well and running like a well lubed machine. Moral is still good. We are extremely busy doing everyday business. Hope all is good here on LL.

YAY!!! I know Bear and his platoon will love the package. He'll let you know when he gets the package- he loves going to the mail distribution center to pick up packages Thank you for being so wonderful and letting him know about your support!

I am happy this thread makes you feel good. Having someone we love downrange is hard but we have to keep our chins up and deal with the separations. I am fortunate that I get to talk to Bear everyday, sometimes for an hour or more. It has been a blessing even during this hard time. If you ever need to talk, please feel free to shout out to me. I can also give you a great website for Army wives (all military wives, girlfriends, family- etc.. is welcomed). It is a great support site and you'll be connected to others in your situation.

It is hard for wives and gf's / fiance's. I think it may be a bit easier for wives because we have access to our husbands more than gf's and fiances. The Military doesn't release information directly to the latter two and that is very hard when there is an emergency. I don't envy your position but I know you are incredibly strong.

LOL.. yessss.... looooooooong vacation!!! I am already planning our reunion in my head. What I will wear, the hotel and how I will get it ready before he arrives at the airport. I even went to a candle party and bought a tall "sensual" scented candle and 2 dozen votives..hee hee.....he is in for a looooong weekend and then we'll take our European vacation

We're still up in the air about Germany because they are reorganizing the units out there. We may go to Italy, stay in Germany or come back to the states LOL... hell, that would be the first time I was relocating overseas, never went overseas and relocated back to the US without ever leaving LMAO!!!

According to the Military, I am living overseas (well, sometimes Idaho does feel like a different country hee hee...)
