Hello, I know this is a nonsense rant, but it's too funny! Ever since I moved into my apartment in Phoenix, we have this carpet that's sort of new near the kitchen area, and I swear everytime I drop or splash food on the carpet it goes right to the same spot(almost like it's drawn to it). The rest of the carpet is in excellent shape, except that space. It's seen everything from Starbucks, milk, even beef chop suey! So now there's this big food stain about the size of a small table developing, and man it's an eye sore. I am almost half tempted to eat out more just so I can give my floor a rest. In my Tucson apartment it was the fickle toilet now instead it's insatiable rug. End of rant. Lol------------------

Are you renting? I rent and there's carpet in my kitchen... almost as insatiable as yours!But why why WHY would anyone put carpet in a kitchen in a rental??? I even dropped my iron on it once for (pinky swear!) 2 seconds. So now there's a burn on the floor, too. The whole stupid place is carpeted. I'm never moving because it's going to cost me a fortune for the (simple wear and tear) repairs! IP: Logged |

Yeah, I am renting, most of the kitchen has carpeting except one small section that has tile and thats it. Everything seems to drop out of my hands over here, more clumsy I guess  ------------------

Sorry to hear about that hehe! My friend's floor sees dog pee regularly (go figure). Maybe you can get one of those Hoover vacuum cleaners with the shampooer built-in. Dohhh.IP: Logged |
