Back in 16th and 17th century Europe, milk maids were considered to be the fairest of all women, because they lacked the pock mark scars of most other people at that time. These women were being vaccinated inadvertantly to small pox by their contact with cows, moooooo! This later lead to the creation of the one of the first vaccines.
