I was referring to the "hounds" of assumptions and accusations, like the ones you just made about that statement.

I liked the Dylan songs. The videos took me back to my youth. Tangled Up In Blue has always been my favorite Dylan song. Dylan was the master of sarcasm in some of his song lyrics. Often he said what others would like to say to some people in their lives. I always liked his honesty in both his life and his song lyrics. Here are some of those songs and my favorite one. Fayte, Zala and Dew you guys will like the video in one of his songs here. Ah, what a trip back in time. Talk about drugs! But I was not a hippie nor did I do drugs except for pot occasionally. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtkVGClqrT4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-cHi7RyylU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxQIV74kEiE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFfWKZrW74Y IP: Logged |

quote: HSC, This is the second time I've gotten some online love from you and it feels nice.
I'm glad. There is something so pretty and understated about that word, "nice". I remember something Salinger wrote about it, and how fond he was of telling a certain girl that the feelings she aroused in him were "nice". He had Sun conjunct Moon in Capricorn (opposite Jupiter and Pluto).
quote: I was a real cynic about groups and group mentality...be it online or otherwise....but it was all a front. A front for my fears of losing my individuality and the whole responsibility thing.
There's a potential for that, with Libra on (or in) the 11th. You are attuned to the wants and needs of the group. It's important to stay true to that 5th house Aries. If your concerns were cynical, it was only to the extent that they convinced you that it was not worth it, or beyond your power, to maintain individuality within the group. You are right to see the threat, and to acknowledge it as a threat, but you are also right in finding the faith in yourself to confront it. I have similar issues with my Neptune in the 11th (semi-square moon in the 1st). I really don't know where I fit, or who "my people" are. I can mix with just about anyone, but there are always sides of myself that quickly feel limited and neglected in society of any kind. I have a lot of social anxiety sometimes. I feel like I'm not from this planet, or something. quote: But hey, I am really embracing it now. I want to be part of EVERYTHING now.
Good for you! I bet your Progressed Moon just moved into a masculine sign. At least, thats how I felt when mine moved out of Capricorn; into Aquarius. quote: I got a 8H Cancer Sun, 2H Capricorn Moon and a Sagitarrius ascendant.
What degrees are they at? What aspects are they making? Any planets in the 1st house? You can post your chart, if you're comfortable with that. I'm curious now. quote: How you feeling these days?
Crazy. Its been three days and no word from "her". Thank you for asking. Very sweet of you. quote: You know the moon was in Scorpio 3 days ago? Maybe that explains the funky moods. Non?
Yeah, the Full Moon, too. That'll do it. Definitely. And this damn Chiron transiting my 1st house and squaring my stellium... its almost exactly on top of my Venus today. Also, I learned about Parallel and Contra-Parallel aspects a little while ago, and I just learned yesterday that they work as transits, too. So I looked, and, would you believe, I've got Sun, Moon, and Uranus Parallel transiting Pluto, and Contra-Parallel transiting Saturn. Woo-hoo!!

Hi Stephen -As you know, I do not come here often - and I really do not know anyone here. In no way am I trying to gang up. I do not like organized religion. All of the Jesus Christ comparison talk is - well, odd. I guess, as a 56 year old woman who has life experience and one with a whole lot of Aries going on in my chart, I care about myself. I try to put myself in good situations, and to surround myself with people who bring out my best. Because you have my son's birthday, and have some similar traits - I am interested in you. That is all. My son is learning to think before acting. Like a chess game, a decision made to today could greatly affect his future. Good luck to you, Key IP: Logged |

You fit right in Key! Alot of us here are between 52 and 61.....or more. And yeah.... Those life experiences do count don't they? Alot of good advice you have given here! Nice to make your aquaintance! You said: quote: Like a chess game, a decision made to today could greatly affect his future.
Funny thing is.... I was thinking the same thing last evening while playing a great game of chess with my beloved. We were talking about how the tiniest change, the well timed word, can spiral out and the ripples be felt and seen much later. The "moves" we make now do affect the outcomes later. Nothing is ever really insignificant. ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ IP: Logged |

Key I hope that you will begin to post more frequently here now. I loved reading your posts on this thread. You are a very wise woman and you express yourself in a natural, unpretentious way. You express yourself very well. In many ways HSC reminds me of my oldest son, Mark and that is the only reason I take interest in him as well. I used Mark as an example of how people change but only when they are ready to do so and want to change their lives. Of course, that was twisted around by HSC as me bragging about my parental skills so he could justify himself in his betrayal of my daughter's trust. Your efforts and compassion for HSC are futile though, Key. As has been exhibited on this thread. Even though HSC is a born writer and expresses himself eloquently, he has problems with relating to others on a human, natural level. Mainly because he maintains double standards in that he feels he can criticize others, dissect them, scrutinize all their words and actions, but in return he feels that anyone who even slightly disagrees with his viewpoints is attacking him personally. He wants only flattery, even if he may know at most times it is false flattery, he does not take even constructive criticism of his viewpoints or his actions well. HSC (and this is my last words to you here on this thread) your self perfectionism, and especially your demand of perfectionism in other people, tells me that it is most likely due to having been raised by very critical parents or at least one critical parent. How do I perceive this? Because I used to a perfectionist in all aspects of my life due to having been raised by a verbally abusive and very critical father who would not allow me even the slightest mistake without criticizing it.That makes a child grow up feeling they have to be perfect and they become even afraid to try to do things they want to do for fear they will fail. Since you seldom speak on the threads here about your father but often speak of your mom and admit to having mother issues, it's obvious it is her. I have noticed on the threads here that you take criticism at least a little bit better from other males. So that we are mostly older women telling you these things is what is bothering you and why you refuse to take any of it into consideration. I think you project your mom onto all women, but especially older women. I also think it is even more important to you to have the praise, admiration and respect from older women than the young one. In short, least I be accused of writing another novel, we are touching on a nerve here with you and you are projecting your mother issues onto us. In therapy you might do best having a male therapist instead of a female one for the reasons I just gave. Incidently, I laughed at the novel remark you made about me because after you said that, you proceeded to write two or three very long responses yourself and generally, most of your posts on the threads here are very long. Which I don't mind because as I have told you before, I enjoy reading them and see that as a mark of a born writer. Something that if you were not so self-centered you might see in myself and others as well. If you are not reading my posts, HSC it is only due to your being afraid of what I might say in them and your inability to take the slightest criticism yet you are constantly criticising others, their beliefs and making assumptions about them. We are not out to change you, HSC. In fact, for a very long time we HAVE accepted you as you are. You fear others are out to change you because you fear change. It would require effort on your part and you fear that you might fail and be less than perfect. I embrace imperfection because I believe highly in the spirituality of it. Why? Well, show me one prophet or one disciple chosen by God who was perfect or well esteemed in the eyes of other people. " Those of you who are first, will be last." All of humanity is imperfect. The world is imperfect. Has to be a reason for that.

fayte.m and Mirandee -Thanks for making me feel welcome here. Stehpen, this is how I see your situtation, merely from reading your posts: By your own admission, you crave/need attention. You set yourself up to get it. Then, just look at this thread - you got soooo much attention. Problem? Most of the attention has been negative. Suddenly, you feel persecuted, and you are hangin' with Jesus Christ Superstar. You could have gotten attention in other ways. You could've set yourself up for positive attention, and you would be feeling better right now. As far as your personal happiness (and mine and most people's), my iris come to mind. Just plants, and not offensive to discuss. They hadn't bloomed in years. I kept separating them, dividing them, put them in a sunnier location, gave them water, and fed them plant food. I made all of the positive preparation steps. Finally, my work paid off. I got blooms last year, tons of blooms. There were so many blooms that people stopped their cars at the end of my driveway, just to look at them. I figure we are like my iris. We have to look out for ourselves, to love ourselves, and to take care of ourselves. Typical Aries talk. Key IP: Logged |

I don't know why, but this song reminds me of this thread when I listen to it.Artist: Interpol Album: Turn On The Bright Lights Song: Say hello to the angels I want your silent parts The parts the birds love I know there´s such a place I had my back turned You didn´t realize I´m lonely You lack the things To which I relate But I see no harm Come wait, come wait, come wait It´s over. One...two...three...do me When I´m feeling lazy, it´s probably because, I´m saving all my energy to pick up when you move into my airspace You move into my airspace And something´s coming over me, I see you in the doorway I can´t control the part of me that swells up when you move into my airspace You move into my airspace But each night, I bury my love around you... You´re linked to my innocence This is a concept This is a bracelet This isn´t no intervention This isn´t you yet What you thought was such a conquest You´re hair is so pretty and red Baby, baby you´re really the best... Can I get there this way? I think so We should take a trip now to see new places I´m sick of this town I see my face has changed. Say hello, say hello, to the angels.
