The planet ruling your chart ruler, Saturn in Gemini in the 5th, should have a little extra significance.My Ascendant is Gemini, so my chart ruler is Mercury. My Mercury is in Sag in the 7th. The way my chart is laid out, though, I'd feel the Mercury and the Sag regardless. With a Mercury-ruled Ascendant and Moon it would be impossible not to notice my Mercury energy. With three planets in Sag, it would be impossible for me not to feel the Sag energy (same with the 7th house energies). So, in the end, for me, my chart ruler isn't felt as any sort of extra-special force. For me, the ruler is built into the design whether it's named or not. It doesn't "add" anything that I don't already feel. In your situation, I would think that Saturn, the planet of discipline, would discipline the self-expression the 5th house is known for. Being in Gemini, maybe the discipline is to the communication of your self-expression. Do you think that your Saturn placement plays an extra-special part in your personality? Stelliums
As far as I know it means three or more planets in a sign or house.
I have a stellium in Sag in the 7th. What it amounts to in practical terms is a focused energy in an area of your chart, which may give greater weight to that section in terms of how much of your personality is defined by that energy. Since my stellium is in the 7th, and the 7th deals most simply with "others," I concern myself more with others than myself. I focus on partnerships, and I like to bounce ideas off people and get feedback from people. The planets being in Sagittarius may make things like wisdom, philosophy, law, religion, and humor part of the mix. The 7th house is ruled by Libra, so art and politics also become an area of concentrated interest. I have another stellium (if I use Koch houses) in the 5th. The 5th house is ruled by Leo (creativity, self-expression). Two of the planets are in Libra (art) and one in Virgo. These two stelliums combine to make for an artistic individual. My 5th house Pluto (which is conjunct my Moon) makes a nice connection with my Venus conjunct Neptune, and I believe the foursome make sweet, beautiful love together. If you missed Xodian's thread about the program where you can design a face using premade hairlines, eyebrows, eyes, noses, mouthes, etc, you probably missed an example of my artistic eye. I have Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, & North Node in the 8th House.I don't know if I'm going to make sense if I use this method...but here it is... I have Leo cusp in the 8th house. My 8th House conjuncts both of my Venus & Jupiter (both in Leo) in the 8th House.
My 8th House squares my Uranus (in Scorpio) in the 10th house.
My 8th House trines my Neptune (in Sagittarius) in the 12th House.
My 8th House sextiles my Pluto (in Libra) in the 9th House. "I needed time off so I can be a traveller. But also so I can relax my mind and soul." ------------------

Artistic, yes! I've heard a little of your stuff!  No doubt. I wonder if that discipline in the 5th Gem for me is what caused me to have a hard time allowing myself to sing for many many many years. I just assumed it was Cap moon or AC, it's hard to sort it all out. But Saturn restriction and caution in communication in the creative house makes even more sense. I know my fears might have to do with the moon and and my reactions to the AC...Well thanks, AG. I googled "stellium" when I was writing my post, and just briefly checked astrology.com because it was at the top and it did say they had to be a conjunction. This is what they said:
"Stelliums are made up of Aspects -- Conjunctions, to be exact. A Stellium refers to three or more Planets that form a series of Conjunctions in an astrological chart, regardless of whether the Planets span into two Houses or if they are in different Signs or the same Sign." So, it makes my 5 planets more interesting to me because there are a lot of conjunctions there, even though the planets span two signs.

True, I wonder if that's the Leo and Sag fire influence?
What stood out for me was the mention of early death if you don't learn the hard lessons. I have a big resonating Saturn vibe that reminds me of that constantly anyway... but to see it mentioned in another area caught my attention.IP: Logged | |
