Imprisoned by your thoughts? “Problems exist only in the human mind.” -- Anthony de Mello For most of us, there’s always a long ‘to do’ list. That’s a fact. And it’s easy to feel victimized. ‘Poor me!’ That’s not a fact – that’s a choice. Experiment with your life to explore how much your mind is your jailer. Simply let go of the ‘oh woe’ kinds of thoughts. Silence your mind. Be right here, right now. Decide what you will do now and do it, without buying in to the mind’s sob story. When one task is done, you can then choose another. Allowing the mind to agonize about the size of the ‘to do’ list just makes us tired before we even get started. It doesn’t have to be this way. “Don't water your weeds.” -- Harvey Mackay IP: Logged |

Solane, I won't appreciate your posts any more, because I know that you are spreading the messages which is so pure and of higher dimension! Rather than appreciating your words alone, I will try to support you by adding a few words from my own mind. Am a weirdo - so bear with me! Talking about thoughts, all we need to do is to LIVE IN THE PRESENT - THE NOW. What is time but the interval between two thoughts? If there were no thoughts, would there be time? Think about it, perhaps it might help someone out there to bring in more meaningful explanation.

That's not weird at all Sattvic, it's very true. This day is all we truly have and we can break that down to minutes and seconds. It's the existance we all live. We do not know even from one second to the next what will happen. Don't waste too much of today thinking about yesterday. Or even tomorrow. Having said that, and I know it inwardly, I have a spring and summer "to do" list that you would not believe! LOL Thanks for this reminder, Star. And your words, Sattvic. IP: Logged |

Thanks cat, errrr, Mirandeee (Cat slave here )I was actually thinking about the NOW part of life, when I happened to listen to a disclosure of Srimad Bhagavatham. Where the talker was explanaining about the concept of God. So, explain that concept, he was explaining the verses which explains the space and time, and I came across this meaningful thought. Even life is what is between two thoughts - the first thought which comes to us from The God, and the last thought which goes to The God as well. [same goes for the breath too] ------------------ Welcome to my Blog: The RechargeHouse

Yes, good point BR. I say yes because I believe that God is present in everything, everywhere and always. There is nothing inbetween anything that God does not fill. There are no voids as God fills everything. So what I mean is that God is not only the first thought and last thought, but God is also everything else inbetween. IP: Logged |
