Very sweet But...... I think it it illegal to pretend to be selling something you do not have. I wonder what the E-Bay folks think? ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ IP: Logged |

It probably is against the eBay rules to post something you are not really selling on eBay. I imagine eventually eBay will shut it down but I plan to end the auction before it ends anyway. eBay's making money off of me anyway because I paid for it. Hopefully, no one will complain about it enough to have it removed for a while.Yes, I wrote it The response from strangers has been overwhelmingly positive. The response from Capt. Sunshine the Scorpio was the same. He was shocked and said no one had ever done ANYTHING like that for him before. We're actually going away for the weekend to wine country in a few hours. hehe- incurable romantic. That part of me has been reawakened in the past few months. I was afraid of it at first but... I REFUSE TO LET FEAR RULE MY LIFE ANY LONGER. Love can rule it instead. I hope you all have an amazing and fantastic weekend. May you have many many hours of smiles, hugs and laughter with your family, friends and/or significant others.

I wish I could have seen it. Whoever complained to ebay and had it removed needs to get a life. I hope it was you who removed it yourself, MoonWitch.IP: Logged |

Drat I missed it. When I clicked on the link this is the message that I got:This listing (330123950015) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number. If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay. Guess eBay can't make a profit off of love. So now I am clueless. But whatever it said, MoonWitch, from the replies here it sounds very good and very romantic.

MoonWitch quote: eBay's making money off of me anyway because I paid for it.
Did you remove it????? Because if you did not..... I feel E-Bay is being pricky.... You PAID for it! So if you did not remove it, let us know! I read it all like 5 times and kept thinking "that is soooo sweeet! Awwww...look at all the people responding!" You put disclaimers in so I do not see why E-Bay would get all hissy about it. And they got their money! I don't know anything much about them though. But with some of the crap I have heard is sold on there, I have no desire to look. Did you ask them why? That really irks me. Yes! Please post it all! Hee hee hee, how much does it cost? Maybe we should ALL go there and do a love campaign on them! I thought it was very beautiful! I am not one to get all mushy but your action and words really touched me! Fayte True what you say about eBay. Petitions going around now by the Wildlife organizations telling eBay to stop the illegal sales of ivory at their site. Elephants are slaughtered for that ivory. eBay is pricky. IP: Logged |

Mirandee I have heard such ugly things about E-Bay. Several folks I know who used them were very displeased with them. Ivory? How the Heck did they get away with that????????????????? Well anyhow..... I have no personal experience with them, but I have yet to hear of any good ones. Except for Moonwitch and her lovely message! ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~

This is what I wrote Dear _____,
Yes, that _____. You. I'm not completely certain you'll find this but I guess that is for fate or luck to decide. I figure since you are on such a hunt for a vintage ukulele the chances are in my favor. So, how to properly let you know how I feel for you? I'm not sure how to do that, obviously, as here we are on eBay and I'm trying to get it out. It's been a long time since I've come remotely close to the joy you've brought into my life in the past several months (if I have ever been that close because I am beginning to think this is the first time). Joy seems like such a small word, really. Bliss? That falls short as well. I'm sure you're embarrassed already but at least I didn't drag you on to a talk show. Hell, I've told you already that 'like' is inadequate when I try to explain things to you. I probably have a neon sign on my forehead constantly when I'm with you flashing brightly every single mushy thought I have about you. However, I'm doing this anyway. You are amazing, sparky. You make me want to be a better person. Better yet, you make me want to be a better person with an appreciation for sarcasm. You have renewed my faith in the human condition in general. You've lifted my jade. You have helped me rediscover my hope for the future. You have reminded me it's the little things that make a difference - like the lime slice in a gin and tonic or the sea salt instead of regular salt on the brocolli. You have proven to me that I can not only spoon with someone for more than 5 minutes but I can fall asleep AND stay asleep spooning. I love: your voice your hairy chest your sense of humour when you call me sugar watching you sleep your shoulders your kisses when you kiss my head while we're watching a movie when you kiss me for no reason when you drive by my car when we're both on our way to work your eyes and how they have goldish flecks in them in the sun our emails back and forth at work that keep me entertained all day that you sleep better when I am there with you your snoring - believe it or not - I fell asleep to it last night YOU. That is all I have to say right now. I hope you find your dream ukulele, Captain Sunshine. I'm cheering for you on the sidelines. Love, ~~ ~~ To everyone else hoping for a ukulele, I'm sorry I'm not really selling a ukulele. I just know that Brian is looking for one. Don't hate me. There are plenty of lovely ukuleles to bid on still! Sorry for wasting your time. Please don't bid on this auction - you won't recieve anything. I DO NOT HAVE A UKULELE!

Yes, Captain Sunshine saw it. AND we just spent a fantastically wonderful long long weekend in Santa Ynez at the vineyards and it was fabulous and the most romantic weekend I've ever had.I know it's sad eBay took it down but the short time it was up really brought a lot of joy! I recieved WONDERFUL feedback including this one which brought tears to my eyes: Amber - If you and Brian ever make it to Santa Cruz we invite you to stop by the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz and we'll set you guys up with matching ukuleles! It would be our gift to young lovers for one of the best ever ukulele listings on ebay. - Andy IP: Logged |
