Remember what you said about perception in UC where you were preaching one thing there and totally contradicting every thing you said there on this thread simultaneously?

Yet you don't seem to have any problem seeing the "offenders" and "defenders" on this thread, and even naming them now do you HSC? Hypocrisy #1

You have no problem with perception suiting your own agenda on this thread, now do you HSC? Hypocrisy #2 And you are dead wrong and what you are telling "people" is dead wrong. Perception is often distorted by past experience and therefore is not more "relevant" than reality. The object of it all is to attempt not to let your perceptions of things distort reality. Therefore, reality is more relevant than our perceptions which are often distorted. For example you seeing yourself as the victim on this thread. That is a distortion of reality based on your distorted perception that anyone who disagrees with your theories is attacking you personally or criticizing you.

Hypocrisy #3 is this one which I quote here because that is precisely what you were doing on this thread while spouting off something entirely different at UC:

You dismissed the perspectives of everyone on this thread who did not agree with your theory about adoption. You didn't even hear them or what they were saying. And you did heap verbal abuse on some of us here.

And HSC, that simply won't do.

You apologized to everyone then came back in your reply to Swerve and took the apology back. So my guess is that you only apologized because I brought this thread to Randall's attention.

Now take virgotaurustaurus who obviously can't even comprehend joking around among friends and the two of you go play in the sandbox together instead of coming in here and starting the trouble up on this thread again.

Now HSC wishes to draw us into one of his one-sided discussions about what constitutes a strong woman and what doesn't based on his own perceptions of course.

But I don't think she'd appreciate a comparison as an insult to others, no matter how complimentary.

Like most ideas on this thread..and as had been said... one is not mutually exclusive to the other.

I'm weird that way.

(although I see now that being affected is all in good measure. I didn't realize it was variable to if a side was chosen or who was the one affected.)

I feared it would escalate. The conflicts seemed learning experiences...things were resolved, and I was left feeling silly for worrying.

Impersonal/Universal Love and Personal Love cannot truly exist without the other Being as well.
You cannot know Intimacy or Universal Love without Into-me-See and Into-thee-See.
Extremes or dismissions in either direction destroy potential.
And there is no "Higher Love".
Universal is no more beautiful than Intimate Love and vice versa. If Love is Pure,is all that matters. Is it Pure?
It radiates and expands from Purity wherever it is felt.

Things are bound to eventually explode when your ongoingly told things are "the truth". Rebel by nature, I entirely understand how disrespectful and annoying that is. No one needs to take that from anyone.

And association of sexes always ultimately encourages exclusion and breeds division, even though the intentions might be good ones. (probably not popular, but my take on that)

Somewhere in time, though, there was some care and compassion for one another.
Attempts at understanding.
It's sad to imagine that that time might be lost forever.

Everyone hate me,
if that's what it takes to talk and (most importantly) listen to one another again.

I've always been a loner in a lot of respects.

I'll be thought subjective. (as if that's possible or not possible)

I do not think, at least for me, that all this has anything to do with division of the sexes.
If HSC were a woman acting like this and you know there are women who do/have acted thusly, I would still be in disagreement with him.
There is rebel and that is OK. But irrationally argumentative and arrogant and rude etcetera is not a sign of a rebel walking their own path, marching to a different drummer. A rebel I can understand.
But this has crossed into something other than that. The flip side is the "look at me everyone, feel sorry for me side and pity me for beng obnoxious, my mommy made me like this response. I don't know about you but this does not sound mentally balanced at all and anyone still his friend ought to try to get him to seek some professional help.
