August 10 - it was a special day for me because it was the birthday of a wonderful soul. Talking about this person, she came into my life while I was at the lowest point possible for any person, and she took me to a point where she showed me what I truly am, what my worth is, what I am capable of, taught me the lessons in companionship, and showed me the power of letting go! We, perhaps, may not be in touch today as much as I like to be, but our presence in each others life has helped us both in a big way - especially me.

See the slide of nature's wonder that happened on August 10th. I see this as Nature's gift on her birthday, or perhaps Nature's way of telling me that my intentions are indeed right.

This flower is called Night Queen. Again a very special plant in my life. My paternal grand mother, with whom I was so close had a special connection with this plant, and since this is a night flowering plant, I remember, as a kid, we have spend sleepless night just to adore the beauty and fragrance of this flower. I do remember a max of 2-3 flowers bloomed on a single day, but never in my entire life have I seen 8 flowers bloomed on a single day! Now, my mom told me that 10 buds fell off due to storm and rain, so you can imagine if there were 18 flowers in one go! So enjoy the slide and the pictures - Nature's way of telling me that August 10 was a special day in every way!

It's remarkable how the human mind and heart can resonate so deeply, in relating an event or special relationship to Mother Nature's incomparable creations.....
