We are pleased to announce that we are a finalist for this month's Myspace.com Impact Awards!!!

Please vote for us every day between now and Friday and tell your fiends.

David and the rest of our DLF team would love to receive this award and very much appreciate your help!

Please do all that you can to raise awareness about this and help us get much needed votes. Spread the word through your email, blogs, websites and of course your myspace accounts.

Winning this Impact Award would mean a $10,000 financial gift to the Foundation and we hope to be able to offer scholarships to some of our Myspace users. But almost more importantly than the money, winning this award would mean a prominent placement on the home page of Myspace.com over the next few weeks where we would be seen by nearly 80,000,000 active users every day.

The David Lynch Foundation is largely volunteer run and very much in need of funding for basic staff and operational expenses.

Our main goal is to be able to offer full scholarships for meditation classes to every student in the world. When the David Lynch Foundation gives scholarships the tuition for the Consciousness Based Education courses are reduced by over 75% and they are free for the students. Raising awareness about our efforts helps to increase the chances that we will be able to fulfill our goals much more rapidly!

David's projects are so very important for today's students and are already transforming the lives of hundreds of youth in schools all across the United States. The science is there to support our efforts in reducing health problems, violence, ADHD and many other problems that many people suffer with.

Already there have been over 600 scientific research studies showing the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Program and it is extremely effective in reducing drug and alcohol abuse and has been found to reduce depression and anxiety by 30-60% without the use of medications with harmful side effects.

But it is more than statistics. The implementation of the Transcendental Meditation Program helps students thrive. They thrive in their studies, their social lives and they are able to offer so much more to the world because they are getting a very deep level of nourishment and love within themselves and they are bring that out into everything that they do. The students in these Consciousness Based Education programs glow with an inner peace and strength and it is these students who are going to be the leaders of tomorrow and we need to do all that we can to help alleviate the problems that they are faced with and to promote the development of their full potential. It is only from that level of peace that harmony can grow to support a truly progressive and harmonious community.

David announced our need for votes in his Daily Weather Report at DavidLynch.com this morning and I am working actively within Myspace to promote it....
