Interesting thought... hmm? -Yes, I like this analogy_____ After watching this video and posting my response; I had some deep epiphanies too... I saw these women a becoming less repressed through thier music. I saw these women clearly growing towards a different train of thought. These ladies are rebels of sorts. They are essentially experiencing a similiar time as was experienced in the US during the 60"s called "The Womens Movement". I am proud of them! I wondered if female babies were also required to wear the burkas? If not, at what age does this become practice? I noticed young male children all about at 1:40 and on during the video, but no female children. ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

omg. I haven't watched this yet, but their name reminds me of Prussian Blue. yikes. Edit: ok I just watched it. It makes me uneasy... it reminds me of the kind of humour that's used to attack other cultures, especially with having a name that clearly refers to the racist group Prussian Blue. I could be wrong... IP: Logged |

GeminiLover75, I'm certain this is not the case. You see until recently it was Law that the women we are speaking of, had to wear the Blue Burka's. These woman are learning a new way and expressing themselves similiar to that of the women's movement we experienced here in the U.S not all that long ago. The song they are singing is making somewhat fun of this practice by pointing out the confusion and sillyness while wearing the Burka. Please listen to the words of the song itself and you'll see what I mean. Example: At like 1:15 seconds quote: We all now wear a Burqa, you don't know who is who. You want to meet your sister, it can be your uncle too!
Then at like 1:55 it says: quote: You give me all your Love, You give me all your kisses, and then you touch my Burqua and do not know who is it!
And then at 2:20 it says: quote: My mother wears Blue Jeans now and I am so surprised! Things are changing fast now, I don't know if I try?
Further clairification: bur·qa or bur·ka: noun. A loose, usually black or light blue robe that is worn by Muslim women, especially in Afghanistan, and that covers the entire body from head to toe. Blue: noun. the pure color of a clear sky; the primary color between green and violet in the visible spectrum, an effect of light with a wavelength between 450 and 500 nm. _______________________ The little girls you are refering to: Prussian Blue Prus·sian: adj. 1. Of or relating to Prussia or its Baltic or German inhabitants. 2. Suggestive of or resembling the Junkers and the military class of Prussia. --Prus·sian n. 1. Any of the western Balts inhabiting the region between the Vistula and Neman rivers in ancient times. 2. A Baltic inhabitant of Prussia. 3. A German inhabitant of Prussia. Blue: adjective. depressed in spirits; dejected; melancholy: She felt blue about not being chosen for the team. Short Article I Found: Prussian Blue is the combination of 14-year-old twin sisters named Lynx and Lamb. Prussian Blue is also probably one of the most controversial up and coming bands on the music scene today. In a day and age when most bands are working hard to remain within self-imposed limits of Politically Correct Thought, Prussian Blue pushes the envelope. Within the fold of White Nationalist Rock, one of the only true alternatives to the corporate music and recording business, these two little girls have filled thousands of their fans with love and hope for the future. Also, within the pro White genre, they stretch the envelope even more to create and sing songs that are of the unexpected. Personal beliefs and experiences are delicately woven with upbeat rhythms and poignant lyrics to create something that is guaranteed to catch the listener off guard and create a reaction. Open your heart and your mind to a time and place in the future where Pride in who you are and where you came from, Love for your people and Hope for the future are acceptable for EVERYONE. Open your heart and mind to Prussian Blue!
To actually listen to thier music just Click here there are 6 different songs to choose from... I also found this abc news story. __________________________ No similarity at all, other than the gender's involved and even this has a 50/50 chance, LOL! __________________________
