Well I happen to know some very intelligent and sweet ugly, squat goblin-like creatures. And some very nasty vile vicious stupid tall fit handsome and beautiful "creatures". If stereotypical good looks is all the human race will use to select breeding partners in the future then the race deserves to go extinct. A world of Barbies and Kens...bleccch! Probably making slaves of or even eating the so called sub human ones like in a sci-fi book I read years back. Also a taller larger race would tax the environment even more. It would behoove humanity to start doing more population control or start shrinking in body size. The blending of all races I highly approve of though! ------------------ "Heaven doesn't want me and Hell is afraid I'll take over and start a rehab for the damned!" ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ ~ if you keep doing what you did, you'll keep getting what you got.~ Everything changes. I am all for the hairless skin in women. Not shaving or going through the other tortures of hair removal would be great. But I thought we already had "pert breasts" ( when we are young that is ) and all the other stuff mentioned??????? Figures a man predicted this and wrote it. LOL The rest of it sounds like the Aristocracy's wet dream. Too funny, HD Love that song too, Zala Must have seen the movie 100 times myself through the years. *edited* IP: Logged |

Yes, it is, Sattvic LOL This is possible:
"Physically, they would start to appear more juvenile. Chins would recede, as a result of having to chew less on processed food. There could also be health problems caused by reliance on medicine, resulting in weak immune systems. Preventing deaths would also help to preserve the genetic defects that cause cancer." This has always been the case since the beginning of time: "Further into the future, sexual selection - being choosy about one's partner - was likely to create more and more genetic inequality, said Dr Curry. " Haven't humans always been choosy about their partners? The thing is that it's also always been the case that what one person finds attractive in a partner is not the same for another person. For that reason I have seen very pretty women select average or even less than average men and the same applies for handsome men. Mainly because most people don't select a mate on physical appearance alone. This article, I feel, greatly underestimates humanity. We may all become a product of what we eat and our immune systems may weaken from our reliance on the "quick fixes" for any kind of pain or discomfort, but we will always have and always will select our mates on things other than just physical appearance. Come on!! We are more than that as human beings. We are not that shallow as this article implies. I still say if we all had the same color of skin we would find other things to be bigoted and prejudiced about. And if we all had the same color of skin how would mankind ever learn tolerance? Not only that it would be boring if we all looked alike.

Re; sexual selection - being choosy about one's partner -I believe this portion to be an accurate portrayal of what the future may hold... You see with all the sexual diseases out there, as well as all the early education we are giving our children, etc. this is already becoming reality. Have you noticed how common it is nowadays to see girls selecting girls instead of boys? It's not due to the boys not looking attractive! It's common talk amongst teenagers today that oral is safer. Many who are curious choose this route due to diseases. I do not necessarily support this train of thought but I do see a strange shift happening in our younger generations. Ask some teenagers yourself. I'll bet you'll be shocked to discover how openly they speak of Safe partner choices! IP: Logged |
