I saw your post after I posted my last post here. I think we crossed posts when I wrote the post about the Phoenix. Then I had an after thought about that which I posted but deleted. Then I saw your last post to Purple_Chick and that is why I posted as I did. I didn't see your first post so only responded to the one after that.

Thank you for understanding. I will email you when I get a chance and talk to you more about my thoughts on the unconscious mind. Although I will tell you here that I agree with what you said in your post about the unconscious mind. Behavior patterns result from the unconscious mind and those behavior patterns may be seen by others but not consciously seen by us. I agree. But that was not the case with me in posting that picture. I don't mind you mentioning that to me because whenever someone does say something to me like that I do give it thought and I put it in my prayers and ask God to point out to me if that is something from my unconscious mind. Sometimes it turns out is was and then I have something to work on overcoming. Because I know that we all have some behavior patterns that come from the unconscious mind. We do need to give the unconscious mind a lot of meditative or prayer thought.

Thank you, I'm honored that an intelligent person such as you consider me one of your teachers. But I also consider you one of my teachers. Even through our conflicts of the past you have taught me. I tend to think the best lessons we learn often come through conflict. Hopefully we can eventually not misunderstand each other as much. 95% trust is great!! I can't ask for more than that, and it's especially great from a Scorpio. I don't trust you completely either but trust is something that is earned in time. It's not a given.

I also very much like what you said here about the Phoenix in connecting it with the differences in suffering and how the two types do effect each other, HSC

When it comes to suffering that is why we cannot judge who suffers more. Unless we are God we cannot even judge how much inwardly a person has worked towards overcoming their suffering and using it as a lesson to help them grow and become more spiritual. Only God can judge the souls of people. We cannot know that. We cannot know the state of another's soul and their spiritual state in God's eyes.

Suffering is suffering to me for the reason that you gave, be it internal or external, suffering effects our whole being, body and soul. To judge who has suffered more and who has had it worse is really, in my mind, using suffering to form a competition with others.

I stated that everyone here at LL deserves the Phoenix award because all humanity suffers and even if others here don't talk on the boards about their suffering as much as some do does not mean they haven't suffered greatly in life. Also they wouldn't be here if they were not seeking something outside of themselves and we all on our own unique spiritual journies.

We talk of the oneness of creation and the oneness of all humanity and then we want to award only those we feel "worthy" of some award and make a big freaking deal out of it as if it were the Nobel Peace Prize when really it is just a made up award. To determine who is worthy and who is not is divisive. It does not speak of the oneness of all here at LL and all of humanity.

So I give the Phoenix award to Everyone at LL, those I know very well, those I only know a little, and those who I don't know at all because I know you have suffered and I know you are still hanging in here with us and working on overcoming the suffering in your lives. I know you are here to learn ways to deal with it and overcome it.

It doesn't matter if anyone has Arrived at a state of being a perfect human being or not because that is not what it is all about. It's the effort we are making at rising above things in our lives and being better people by the day that matters. That is also what makes a person a Phoenix.

The Phoenix, is always depicted as rising upward out of the ashes. The Phoenix is never depicted of having already arrived to the heights of wisdom, knowledge and spiritual perfection. Neither have any of us risen to those heights and it probably won't happen in our lifetimes. The effort along our journies is ALL that matters. We do it baby steps at a time on the most part.

Why am I and my award giving being taken so offensively?
Why are you so hot against only my heartfelt Award is clearly to me a personal attack.
No other award is being analyzed and the award giver insulted as you look down your noses at me, and deem yourselves worthy to judge me and tell me what awards I am worthy to invent and give to folks. Talk about arrogance!
