I know Lisa quite well, and yes I'm perfectly aware of how sensitive she is. Who would interpret Fayte's posting these things as Fayte trying to pray upon or hurt Lisa? I haven't consulted Fayte, but what I see is that Fayte remembers their kinship and still holds on to it.

Don't you SEE that bringing Lisa into this yourself also puts Lisa in a bad position? Have you not read any of Lisa's posts of late about how she hates being in the middle of this crap?

Fayte: What's really going on here? (this is not an attack either just wondering why the change in writting styles. One minute their all messed up, in another post their fine, and then back to being all wacky.)

On a side note: I can't believe all this escalated from a freakin award. So you all have varying opinions as to who "should" get the award and "what" it represents, is that really worth fighting over? think of all the energy thats being wasted here ... sigh

Because there is not much left to say. But I'll try in my own longwinded and paradoxically blunt way. In advance, I'd like to say that I hope I don't hurt any feelings and that I'm not taking any sides.

I know from experience that this is not going to be resolved. The problem is not that you 3 (fayte, Mirandee and Solane Star) can't read or don't understand each other.

The problem is a fundamental lack of Trust between you. And I think it's understandable that that is the case, considering how long these dramas have gone on.

Having butted my head against a few walls over the years here at LL, I have to ask ... what is the point of continuing this "discussion" with each other? Sometimes you just have to let go and ignore each other because there is nothing that ALL 3 of you are willing to do consistently to change this strain on your relationships.

You're not going to convince anyone here that you're right if they don't think you are.

You're not going to expose someone's true motives if others don't agree with you, "blind" or not.

You're not going to retain any dignity for yourselves by continuing in this vein ... and your warring posts clearly show that you are sensitive people who do care about what others think of you.

(Not that any of you have said you desire the aforementioned in those exact words.)

You have differences of opinions on why each of you post the way you post and there doesn't seem to be a way to reconcile what Person A feels they meant by what Person A wrote when Persons B and/or C refuse to believe Person A.

It's sad. I know because I've had to resort to ignoring people who just won't give up their negative opinions of me and others NO MATTER WHAT WE REALLY MEANT and who take any opportunity to turn a discussion into an "expose soandso for the real nasty they are while myself remaining mostly innocent or a victim in the eyes of others" over the years. I've also learned that most people on LL don't actually care that soandso doesn't like soandso and only post in these threads to try and stop the immature madness.

You're all good, smart people with loving hearts. But you can't change the way each of you react to each other. You can only change the way You react. Yes, your pride might be injured for a while. But over time, soandso will look rather silly making these kinds of posts to themselves with no replies and everyone will see that without you ever having to stress yourself out.

Opinions are like farts ... everyone has them, everyone passes them and everyone thinks their own are less offensive than someone else's. Try to stay upwind.

You know, Lialei, whatever the feeling is, I like how you think, and I find some similarities between us, even though they could just be in my head.

I was reading the part where you spoke about egos and silence, and how many mistake that for "weakness", so to speak. It is not, and I agree with you.

You do not enjoy being in the middle of other people's messes, even though you would like to help, because it discomforts you.

Me too.

You are a strong woman from what I have read, a good hearted-person who prefers peace than drama, hence you probably prefer to speak when you have to, and hope it was heard.

And although this may be seen as weakness by "bullies" to not fight back, it is only because you treasure other things more than winning an argument, or seeming stronger, or righteous, or whatever it is that people strive for in order to have the last word, because you really do not have those ego issues.

Yes, I know that to others it may make one look guilty, or defeated, if one does not defend oneself. I do not see it that way. So, you didn't have to explain to me, but it was appreciated anyway.

I see the way you operate as inner strength. Combat is primitive (win-lose scenario), debate is healthy (win-win scenario).

This thread reminds me of Linda Goodman's definition for the number 13, on page 197 of Star Signs (my day of birth and the day of birth of this thread "coincidentally" hee) and she writes:
